This is really not easy for me to report. :'(
She was only 39.

I only discovered her fairly recently, thanks, I'm sure, to Alex dedicating a thread to her, and I recall her photos being very captivating. As someone with a disability, I can understand a little of what she had to go through to achieve what she did in her life.
RIP. :'(PS: Just a thought; shouldn't the producers rename Val Waugaman's character in respect to Shelley Beattie? After all, it seems that, for so many, Shelley WAS Siren.

Indeed.
February 17, 2008 at 6:07 pm #6731900treeParticipantShelly was actually one of the main resons I became an avid fan of FBB. The first time I saw her was when she earned her pro card. She won the HW division and the overal. She actually beat Nikki Fuller in that contest. This was in the way early ninties and I watched it on TV (Back when they used to play FBB competitions on TV).
Shelly you will be missed.

Yes, I did – and she'll always be a Valkyrie Giantess, to me.
Did this collage with her several yrs ago, think I posted here back when the forums was called She-Grew.
