    I prefer "shoulder width", but that's just me.  😉

    And if you were measuring it, shoulder circumference *

    *Not an easy thing to do alone w/o assistance, but not impossible, either.

    Girth refers to the belly indeed – but the dimention would be diameter, not circumference. 😉
