For those of you who didn't know, She-Hulk is in the 1st issue, and it's no cameo.
January 11, 2008 at 4:35 pm #65696Prophet TenebraeParticipantArtwise… she's drawn pretty substantially… maybe not enough bosom but plenty of muscle and plenty tall… and able to lay the smack down.
Quite WHY she's along on this mission though, I'm not sure… and how she's able to stop herself from punching Iron Man's face off…

Not a bad issue overall, but Marvel are messing around too much with their mainstream characters for my liking right now. DC don't seem to need to reinvent the wheel in order to keep their characters fresh and interesting.

You seem to be suffering under the misapprehension that Marvel's editors and senior writers are giving thought to cross-title continuity.
- She-Hulk is now a biker slut bounty hunter in her own Peter-David-written title.
- In World War Hulk Prelude she was an ex-SHIELD agent and superhero enraged at Stark and Samson and involved in a conspiracy with Amadeus Cho that never saw fruition.
- In Dan Slott's She-Hulk she was still an attorney who was depressed but whose anger seemed to have leveled off into productive determination.
- In The Hulk #1, she is a superhero attorney only mildly annoyed with Leonard Sampson for betraying her cousin, collaborating with both Stark and Samson.
There is obviously no concern for continuity in these wildly divergent depictions. Check Shulkie.com for my regular take.

I am going to have to disagree with you On the DC not Changing to much. Power Girl has had more origens than you can shake a stick at. Infinent Crisis did a great job of killing off a lot of characters and I don'e even want to start talking about 52. The also have an Anti continuity title kind of like marvels "What if" called Else world.
Just my opinion.

Elementary, my dear PT – its so that we She-Hulkie fans will buy yet another title featuring SH, whether or not its got a good artwork, much less a story line worth a (bleep).
She did nearly slug off Ursa Majors face, tho – that he could scratch her skin, I don't think so.
