ParticipantHow on earth could I have forgotten Pawina Thongsuk – probably the biggest shoulders I've ever seen on a weightlifter. She had an anusual career since she competed in three different weight categories: 63, 69 and 75 kg. This thaiwoman won olympic gold 2004 in 75 kilo kategory and two years later took Asian championships in 63 kilo category breaking 23 years old world record in clean and jerk and her records still stand.

ParticipantMaitolasi, you have done a wonderful job with this thread. You seem to follow the weightlifters(great), with some hammer, discus and shotput women thrown in. But who are your favorite hepathletes? Kluft? Southerton? Blonska?

ParticipantActually I keep my eye on weightlifting and athletics in general, but however, this is a forum concentrating on narrow areas of athletes.
In terms of achievements the choice is clear: Caroline Klüft. Although she never broke Joyner-Kersee's world record, I consider her as the best female hepathlete of all time. Jackie did that amazing performance ones, but Caroline has been really consistant since her junior years, and her winning streak in international competition is amazing.
I've seen her a couple of times, and she has humiliated athletes who are specialized in event such as 100 m hurdles, long times and so on.
But now back to the topic…I guess I choose Nataliya Dobrynska
probably biggest and most muscular athletes in the hepathlon.

ParticipantJust finished watching the highlights of the 2009 IAAF Grand Prix in Osaka and this super hot and buff Japanese sprinter caught my eye.
http://www.rikuren.or.jp/fan/player/wom040.htmlHer name is Tomoko Ishida and it looks like she's coming to the end of her of athletic career. I wonder if she's thought about joining her namesake and crossing over to bodybuilding.

ParticipantGreat Find. Looks like a minizon ;D
Talking about buff sprinter, Canadian 100 m hurdles sprinter Priscilla Lopes-Schliep is probably the biggest one that comes to my mind. She has a very unusual bodytype for a sprinter, actually she doesn't even look like one.

She looks more like a shot-putter! She's nice, though.
