ParticipantAs I explained here:
http://amaz0ns.com/option,com_smf/Itemid,135/topic,8941.0/
I have been trying to create a shonen-manga-like muscle growth comic about a college student that becomes a strength athlete out of academic necessity.
I can't draw, but I still decided to post my doodles here, in the hope of getting the pros to teach me how to do things the right way.
So, without further ado, seven pages of my first attempt at a muscle growth comic. (As could be expected, there is no growth as yet, but it will soon follow.)Comments are welcome, criticism is asked for! Help me improve myself. Also, if someone wishes to join me, YEAH!

ParticipantJust some quick observations- you've got a good eye for storytelling and proper pacing and seem to understand perspective to some degree. My primary advice would be to keep in mind that readers expect to read your comic the same way that they would read text, left-to-right and top-to-bottom. Try to keep the text set up that way and it makes the story easier to follow.
As for your self-assessment ("I can't draw") I would disagree. 🙂 You seem to think like an artist and you've got good sequential storytelling skills. However I don't get the impression that you want to do it, and that could be an obstacle (this is not a negative thing in and of itself, mind you). But a writer who understands art will generally have very positive experiences with artists. I hope you can find a collaborator, I'd love to see this story develop.

ParticipantThis is an awesome start. Your linework, proportions, anatomy, character design, and everything else all show great promise. The only thing left to do is practice, and what better way to practice than do your own comic. You'll definitely get better as you go along, and you could always do it over 2 or 3 times, improving it each time.
By the way, have you seen this tutorial I had commissioned?

ParticipantFirst off, it's nice to see an attempt at a comic. We were all novices at one time so it's no big deal if your work isn't polished. We've all been there. As for doing it the right way, all I can tell you is if you are willing and able to practice for many, many, many years you will improve your drawing abilities noticeably. You just need to put in the time and effort. In short, their is no easy way to get good.
