It's amazing that there are some people who still aren't familiar with him and fall for his schtick. It was hilarious – she was getting so frustrated that you could almost see the capillaries in her brain popping.
I read somewhere that Sacha (or is it "Sasha"?) Baron Cohen is retiring his "Borat" character because he's become too well-known; surprised the same thing hasn't happened to Colbert yet.
Who dat? Oh, oh you mean that failed vaudevillian from one of those public access cable channels, like MSNBC. 😉
MSNBC = More Snotty Non-Sense By (Leftist) Chicks
(or is it)
MSNBC = Meth-NBCThat explains a lot… ;D

Well, I'm pleased that you, Sir DCM, realise that "Borat" was an invention of one guy's febrile imagination (some of your countrymen and women, it seems, do not), but I'm curious as to whether more of us are statistically right-of-centre politically than one would expect. There seems to be a correlation between liking buff women and being conservatively-minded, and I, as usual, buck the trend.

Well, I describe my own politics much the way AlexG's were a few posts back (socially liberal, politically conservative).
But I'm not so sure you "buck the trend". I think you'd find more company here than you suspect, were more members to share their political orientations. "Course that might open a can o' worms that's better left closed… 😉

Agreed. I don't want to start a debate, I was more thinking in type… ::)

Indeed, that and religion (pro, con, or the lack thereof otherwise) are the third rails for forums.

They do it because, believe it or not, the Right seems to have no clue that he is a satirist.
Remember when they invited Colbert to speak at a function for the president? And he had to keep stepping it up so they'd get the fact he was actually MOCKING them?

Reminds me of Reagan praising Springsteen as an American Hero because of Born in the USA when, in fact, the lyrics spoke of Springsteen's shame at how his country had treated Vietnam war veterans, something that I fully expect to be repeated once the Iraq war finally limps to its end.

The delegate from Guam is a Democrat.
