I never seem to know where to post this stuff, but I thought you might be interested in this upcoming movie that I came across.
The movie is called "Super Ex Girlfriend" and the plot outline is:"When a regular guy (Luke Wilson) dumps a superhero (Uma Thurman) because of her neediness, she uses her powers to make his life a living hell."
We can't ever expect too much from the media, but, hey never know, it could be good. It's similar to a lot of topics we've seen around here.

I dunno. I liked Luke Wilson in Legally Blonde and more particularly Royal Tenenbaums. Y'never know!

I actually brainstormed the idea of what would happen if you had an inkling your girlfriend was a closet superheroine and the hilarity which would ensue in trying to find out the truth.

However, I AM a huge Ivan Reitman fan! How can you not hope for something funny out of the guy that brought us Animal House, Stripes, Ghost Busters, and Old School??
That said, here's a production photo I found…

Generic gym wear covered up with a coat that's a cross between a pirate captain and a Gestapo agent. I guess they went with the red accents to avoid saying "Hey! I'm a Matrix clone in drag with no shades!"
Still, coulda done much worse. 🙂

Ummm…
The Truth About Cats & Dogs (1996)
Gattaca (1997)
Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003)
Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004)
EDIT: THats what I get for not checking for doing a straight copy from notepadAlthough by that pattern, the next good Uma movie is expected to arrive 2010.

Well hey, they are just following modern superhero fashion. I have seen plenty of new characters(or redesigned costumes) that have outfits pretty similar to this. You know, if this movie was made in the early 90's, she would've had gigantic shoulderpads, 800 ammo pouches, and a g-string.
I am hopeful about this project. The idea has lots of potential. One of my favorite parts in The Incredibles was when Samuel L. Jackson's character was having the interview and he said "Superladies are always tryin' to tell you about their secret identities. They think it strengthens the relationship or something."
The idea of Luke Wislon having to track down kryptonite or whatever (if she even has such a weakness) from various supervillains; maybe having to exchange naughty photos of her for them, … Well I THOUGHT IT WAS INTERESTING. Hoo.

Her authentic Ulla accent (She's got some Swedish people in her family tree), excellent dancing skills, and her compatability with co-stars Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick were pretty good. 'Twas a good movie indeed.
