    Seem kind of boring, rehash of Super hero genre. I will give it a chance since Superheroine shows are so rare. Hope it makes it even if its mediocre.

    Not that the comic were writing masterpieces themselves…it looks ok to me. Let’s hope the comedy and (mandatory) angst don’t overshadow the action.
    About the shoulderpads…I think it’s more “padding” to make her look buffer, that’s all. Just a wardrobe malfunction (4:50 min). After all, Henry Cavill’s suit has padding too…and if they thought he needed it, they can pad every suit.

    After all, Supergirl is just Potential Power Girl, and then she’ll need another type of padding… :laugh:

    I think I’m the only guy in the planet that likes this outfit… :dry:

    Ooooh. No those are cool designs. I love the cloak/cape.

    Oh an yeah, I assumed to make her look larger/more heroic. It’s just… kind noticeable hahah.

    only issues that i have is that Jimmy Olsen is way too athletic&too cool for school
    what’s the deal with not choosing a nerdy guy,..it’s your bread-n-butter CBS (BigBangTheory anyone??)
    2nd why pander to women with Kara playing dress up&faking drama with a sister from nowhere,..SHE’s 24,Damnit!! Not Paris Hilton or ex friend Kim kardashian
    3rd,..why cutout Kent family if she knows that Superman is her cousin

    I think they are trying to do a drama/action. Instead of superhero we ended up with Glee with super powers.

    1. In universe, Jimmy Olsen had 10 years of being a Sidekick to Superman. He’s grown out of being a teenage geek.

    2. Every single costume she tries on is an actual previous Supergirl Costume… it’s a mythology gag. (I think it’s hilarious.) It’s the pilot, you’ll never see it again. Relax.

    3. Because they’re cutting out Superman *outright*. He’s mentioned by name exactly once, and alluded to a few more times… this is a series about Supergirl, not Superman.
