Hmm… quite a bit of muscle, but not on supergirl.  Check out Powergirl, though!  Definitely one to watch over the next few months, methinks…  No muscle on the cover, but beautiful artwork, nonetheless!  Enjoy!

Oh, apologies for the shite quality of the images by the way.  I think I own the second worst scanner in the history of the world…  😐

Yes, I think the art is a bit hit-or-miss… but I'm a sucker for Supergirl when she's not a shapeshifter or Earth Angel, so I'll probably buy it.  😀
If Powergirl's legs were drawn proportionally to her upper body, it would powerfully drool-worthy. As it is, that's a little distracting to me.

Is it me ,or does Supergirl look kind of anorexic?

Man, she is way to thin.

ANd the art id fair enough for me, just that.

Yeah, the artwork inside is a bit poor, but it's not often this level of muscularity makes it into comics.  I think the cover is beautiful, though (although less so if you don't like manga-style drawings).

What's with the gold trim on Supergirl's cape?  Isn't that Mary Marvel's cape?

Supergirl, like Powergirl has always been a favorite, whether drawn buy Al Plastino, Win Mortermer, Neal Adams, Kurt Shaffenburger, Curt Swan etc…  I'll have to give it a couple of issues but, this whole issue deals with Kara finding who she can trust and can't, unlike Krypto, who as Batman put it "Doesn't like anyone!"  But the big question is and it's over in JSA Classified 1 – 4, who is Powergirl and how much does she know OR remember about the "Crisis on the Infinite Earths" and what is her relationship to the upcoming "Infinite Crisis." 😉
