This is in line with the Swedish goverments crackdown and persecution of muscular people and Reggae music fans.
I think you’ve been had 😆
I know reggea music is dread, but this can not be real.
A country that has such political views can not be taken seriously.Maybe there are some Swedish members on this board who know more about this.
Maybe they can tell if there is any truth to this story.Until I see further proof I will take this article with a whole lot of grains of salt.

Try typing the words “sweden” “muscle” “profiling” into the Google search engine, I think you’ll find more then few links on the subject on Muscle Profiling in Sweden.
This one, for example, posted at Musclesportmag.com –
Swedish pro bodybuilders Martin Kjellstrom and Irene Anderson have already experienced the wrath of this law and that will not bode well for any up and comers in that nation to stick around to realize their dream.

~ Mark Twain / Samuel Clemens (1907)February 16, 2011 at 1:10 am #99017fasolaParticipantGuys, for what I could dig up (and believe me swedish is quite a difficult language) it seems that this is a concecuence of the sedish policy against drugs, wich include PEDs.
Apparently, they are whilling to go as far as drug testing people that might “look” like PED user. Wich is, in my humble opinion, an insanity. All this, in their “hopes” fior catching dealers or whoever they are going after.
If you ask me, it’s an extreme meassure, but not quite outside of the norm at other places. For example, remember all the drug busts of bodybuilders in the US, even acussing them of dealling and making them look like drug lords.
It’s the same everywhere, make some flashy arrests someplace, and keep the media happy, but don’t bother going against the real manufacturers that are making the real money dealing drugs.February 17, 2011 at 8:42 am #99053Robert McNayParticipantAlexG wrote:

Doing that search on Google and Ask.com, what I’m seeing is various muscle oriented websites quoting the story from each other. What I don’t see is a real news site of some sort, US or European.
If this were really happening, you’d think that some of the more extreme liberal papers over there would be trumpeting this as some sort infringement of personal libertys.

Check out this wikipedia page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toney_FreemanIt contains enough credible links (some in Swedish) for me to be convinced that Sweden’s muscle profiling policy is a real thing.
Perhaps the reason it’s not getting more coverage in the mainstream is that the general public pretty much assume that all pro bodybuilders are on drugs, so some are bound to get arrested in countries where those drugs are illegal. The wider implication of the policy is most likely lost on them.
Perhaps civil liberties groups are jumping on this, but they don’t really get a lot of coverage either, or it could be that they feel they have bigger fish to fry in this day and age.

I’m afraid it’s all too real. Here’s video and photo proof of Toney Freeman’s arrest in Sweden.
http://st.nu/medelpad/sundsvall/1.2562995-har-grips-stjarnan-misstankt-for-dopningsbrottC’mon guys! As ridiculous as it is this policy of muscle profiling is, isn’t it more ridiculous to think there is a global internet conspiracy going on to make everyone believe that bodybuilders are being targeted by the Swedish police when they’re not!
February 21, 2011 at 4:58 pm #99168FlakBaitKeymasterFAH!!!! nothing is too ridiculous to believe on the internet!!!!

Any closed community can become an echo chamber – politics at both ends of the spectrum are typical examples.
