That's neat! ;DJanuary 4, 2007 at 8:40 am #45382DavidParticipantCool. A pentagram facing up is a Wiccan symbol while facing down is the devil worshiping version. If that's what you mean.

It's just a pentagram in a circle, her abs are deforming it.

Yeah but what he means is, the way you have it pointing has nothing to do with evil, it's a wiccan symbol to do with the god and goddess, usually I think the goddess Venus (hey my knowledge is rusty here) and is a symbol of protection and has to do with the seven chakras of the body (some images depict a person lying on a pentagram, arms legs and head at each point, with the seven chakras down the middle of their body). This would mean, by default, missus here was a witch, but not a bad kind of witch, as witches.. aren't bad. If you see what I mean.
The upside-down pentagram, the symbol most people associate with satanism and evil, is simply turned the other way (much like the upside-down cross) because it symbolises a rejection of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit (i.e. Holy Trinity) because of the three points looking towards 'Hell' as it were. The upside-down one would be the evil version.January 5, 2007 at 6:19 am #45385Angel UrielParticipantYeah but what he means is, the way you have it pointing has nothing to do with evil, it's a wiccan symbol to do with the god and goddess, usually I think the goddess Venus (hey my knowledge is rusty here) and is a symbol of protection and has to do with the five chakras of the body (some images depict a person lying on a pentagram, arms legs and head at each point, with the five chakras down the middle of their body). Reminds me of a novel where a student invoke a demon to succeed in a geometry test, and the demon steps out of the pentagram saying something like" you sure did need my help: you traced an octagon instead of a pentagram…" I guess the poor guy never had to worry about this test anymore. :-To come back to the subject, that's a really impressive work you did here, Angel Uriel. Great! 😉
