Reading the posts I have to wonder if anyone here bothered to read the comments posted by the people @ RX, who are involved in the sport.

Based upon what I've read here there seems to be a disconnect, with some, not all, to distinguish between their fantasty and the reality about muscular women – what it takes, and what it can cost them.

As to what's wrong w/ FBBing, especially the size question, well I think post #180 by "FitBodyBC" summed it up quite well.

This is pecisely the point, an why, with all due respect to him, Maitolasi isn't 'getting it'.  Yes, seeing Usain Bolt run 9.6 seconds is more spectacular than seeing him run 11 seconds, but he doesn't end-up with boobs and a high-pitched voice because of it, nor is he growing a vagina.  These are the closest things I can think of that could happen to a guy which replicate what happens to women on high levels of GH and androgens.  Heavy, square jaws, enlarged noses, heavy brow arches, high foreheads, coarse skin, facial stubble, deepened, gravelly voice, clitoral enlargement, acne…the list goes on.  If the rewards were great and public adulation followed, maybe it's worth it, but reading "fitbody"s post, she spends $430 per month on chicken and egg whites.  This years' 4th-place Ms. Olympia prize money was $4000.  As the American members here would say "you do the math".

Hmm I didn't make that Usain Bolt statement. And I've also agreed that the term professionalism is a bit joke in this matter.

I don't really find the extreme contest shape these FBB get in for this to be attractive, at all.

Yes, Jana (and Chyna) has been a lot in TV but it's an exception (a very good one). I don't see much female bodybuilders in Finnish television or magazines, and as long as I'm aware, the situation is quite the same in other countries – apart from Germany that is.

maybe american bb are to lazy or to stupid to market themselve  ;D

but it is a fact : all succesfull bb actors are german speaking  ;D (arnold, kickinger , schlierkamp , moeller)
