Although I did see some promo art…and shes looking pretty impressive…although I prefer mah SH's black haired…this redhead may do well.
April 10, 2009 at 11:49 am #79178Prophet TenebraeParticipantAmusingly, I think this has had more action in a single issue than the Ultimate Hulk vs. Wolverine has had in all 4 – the fact the blurb for #5 dubbed it a "slugfest" made me laugh.
Personally, I think they were pretty fucking cheeky. There are (including the cover) only 23 pages of actual comic. The rest is some self-congratulatory backslapping interview where the writer gets to tell us how damned good he is. Admittedly the art and action are good, there's some interesting plot regarding Lyra's backstory and her mission and of course, the obligatory lead in to the fight with She-Hulk. So – my only complaint is the length.

I agree with you 100% on all points about the New Savage She-Hulk comic. It's off to a good start so lets hope it continues to be good with the remaining 3 issues.
April 18, 2009 at 2:29 pm #79180AlexGKeymasterI finally caught up with the issue yesterday, it's decent enough, much better then most of what Marvel is offering these days in its stable of titles.
My only criticism, probably since I write my own stories, is the depth factor – I want more. Then again, this is a mainstream comic that is highly compressed rather then a thoughtful novel where you have a greater range to expand upon.

In short, Norman Osborn has become the most powerful man in the United States in that he is now the head of SHIELD.
April 30, 2009 at 9:23 pm #79184Don JackParticipantThis is Lyra. The daughter of Hulk and Thundra. So yes she's awesome.
April 30, 2009 at 9:41 pm #79185AlexGKeymasterYes, Lyra . . .
Some over on the She-Hulk Message Board (Who? What? Never heard of it.) have nicknamed her Shundra.
I prefer She-THulk, but that's just me. 😉

She-Thulk sounds great so does shundra. And man this brings the count of Hulk children up to 3. I'd love to see a familly reunion…with alot of smashing. At the very least i want to see her meat her father.
