I know one of the traps I fall into easily when I'm on holiday or have tons of free time is, I plan to catch up on sleep I've lost while teaching.
Then when I nestle in front of the computer, I figure, "Hey, I can stay up late tonight. I can sleep in!"
Next thing I know, after playing The Sims and C&C Generals and websurfing… I see the sun come up.
Losing sleep day after day like that can really clean your clock. And if you don't think so… maybe you'd better read what happened to one scientist when he thought of how long the human body could last with out it. I give you…
