    I think that this story is going to go far. My guess, though, is that the paw's price will be everyone else's reaction to the girl. She will probably be shunned by her family or one of her closest friends. Either that or the third wish will be a mistake that messes everything up.

    A terrific beginning.  I like the way you've set up the two characters.  Very sympathetic.  I want to see how big she's getting and what his reaction is.

    And there are so many wishes left!
