Ave all.
I's hast started this thread to get more open discusions going.
We have done this on other Forums that I's have been apart of and it has generally worked well. The simple purpose of this thread is for you to discuss the things in your life that make you happy, that you like and enjoy and brings joy to your very existence.
IT can be something simple or grand but as long as it makes you happy, you can post it. Though within the Realms of Reason and Taste.
If you wish to discuss a fetish or sexual pleasure, then please start another thread.Anyway, let I begin.
What I's love:
Standing on the shore as a storm rolls in across the waves.
Feeling the sweet Winter chill as it caresses the nape of my's neck, beneath my's hair
Being able to sit by an open fire and read an enchanting tale
To be able to discuss life, love and philosophy with others
To stand upon the Mountain and look out upon the Plains
To Meditate and feel the very pulse of the Universe within I
The quite and solice that only the Night can bring
A pot of tea or a meal with friends
And, of course:
The very company of my's most Beloved wife and Daughter as we set out upon our great journey
These are but a few of my's pleasures.
What are your's?
Peace

Touching the leaves of trees as I go past
Standing at a beach and watching the tide ebb and flow
Walking in the rain, umbrella or no
A gentle breeze on a hot day
A baby's smile (no, I'm not like that!)
July 3, 2006 at 11:08 pm #33962TC2ParticipantSitting on the couch with my girlfriend cuddling with her.
Being able to have serious discussions about my friends when it comes to life and our future.
Resting my arms against the window sill on a rainy day, to listen to the melody it sings.
Spending time with my family even though it gets a little crazy sometimes with the silblings.
Being able to sit down in the shower and listen to the water hitting the floor, almost like a quiet meditation.
Watching movies with my family.
Being inspired by music which causes me to write or create plans for the future.
Looking outside the window when the sun is setting.
Getting up early in the morning to see the sun rise and all the colors that fill the sky.
Finally, being there for people who need me most when they are in a time of need.
I'm sure I left out plenty of other activities, but I don't want to flood the whole forum with my list.

July 4, 2006 at 8:13 am #33966Debido-SanParticipantHeh, most of my good things are more or less memories
Imagining myself in some sort of imposible, imaginary world (Anime, Manga, Comics)
-and-
actually pretending to take on those enemies that I might face, practicing various types of martial arts and disciplines, and even inventing decapitating movesHaving so much fun with an activity, games, whatever, that I'm considered by all around me to be "good" at it, no matter their skill level
Knowing near everything about a subject of interest
Going about something in such a way that it completely goes against the standard, but ends up better
-or-
Figuring out a way to do something unconventionally, yet incredibly effectivelyMaking people laugh, smile, and hopefully feel better
Dreaming
Fiddling/playing with Beyblades and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards (I don't collect either anymore, but I love to dust off the blades, and I bought the YGO game for DS just because I felt like making a deck)
Watching old series that bring back awesome memories
Hearing that occassional song that really makes me feel excited (I'm not much of a music person, but once in a while a song will give me that "feeling" inside)
Hearing about somebody's insane intellectual achievements(like for instance, the ancient chinese strategist Zhuge Liang/Kongming was awesome!)
and lastly I suppose, thinking, or reading/being told something that makes me thinka lot huh? maybe too much?
July 4, 2006 at 8:12 pm #33967LuParticipantLet's see, I'm sure I have lots…
Spending time with friends I can just be me with, and it not mattering what we do
Driving on motorways through British countryside
Riding the bus for a long journey with just myself and an mp3 player
Seeing such random beauty in the world wherever I look
Welsh mountain scenery
The feeling of waves against my back in the cold sea
Soft grass and no shoes
Being able to appreciate the culture and heritage of where I live and who I am
Being able to make a drawing that makes me happy when it just feels so right
Being able to lie in bed when it's mid day and knowing I don't have to get out
Playing pretend (like kids when they imaginary play, like I do it in RP but I love to do it with kids too)
Forests/woods when it's not too wet
Overcast days (I'm not sure why)
Climbing things like rocks and trees
Going to castles/cathedrals/old buildings (eg Bodelwyddan, Chester cathedral)
Knowing so much about so many things that I can usually argue my way out of anything
Science and finding out new things about the world and what's in it
Listening to a song that reminds me of someone or something or some period of time that I haven't thought about in so long
Just sitting and looking at the world while thinking about anything for maybe hours
There's probably more but I think that's enough
