ParticipantThat’s fine sweetie, I do understand. From what I later heard, one of the models showed up late and put the production behind the 8 ball, and didn’t have time to get the shots you mentioned. (They were planned.) At that point, the guys had to cut things out due to the time frame they were allowed in that location.
I’ll definitely let them know because we do listen!

Yes, a classic clothing ripping apart (think old-school FX ala Incredible Hulk series) scene from muscular growth is what the fans are after . . . just can’t get enough, like say just one Lays potato chip ads. 😉 B)

ParticipantHi guys,
Just a quick update… we’re shooting again with Darkside Milinda again this month for another awesome title called The Statue. This is another title I’ve REALLY been looking forward to ALL YEAR!!

ParticipantEvening Mimi (by the way, I do like the new avatar 😉 ). I’m not able to buy anything at present, but I’m in total agreemet with your style of production and the class you’ve brought to what can, at times, be a formulaic business. B)

ParticipantJust received word from the guys that our muscle model backed out of a shoot next weekend. While this is “part of the business“, it is becoming more and more frequent and even more frustrating as the excuses just keep getting more ridiculous.
I understand some FBB’ers privately have their likes and dislikes as to who they prefer to work with, but as WB270 site warns of scammers, I really wish there was something like that for photographers and videographers to use as a safeguard against the FBB models who flake out, thus costing them hundreds of dollars (sometimes thousands) in re-scheduling and re-booking everything that goes along with it. For the guys, they have to re-book the studio, check to see if they can re-arrange a shoot with the other model (who was counting on getting paid), and put off another month of potential revenue now lost because of this FBB’s poor decision. To be fair, this also happens in fashion and runway modeling too, and is equally frustrating to the crew and other models who are left standing.
So with that, the much anticipated “Statue” shoot has to be postponed.

KeymasterSurprising, or maybe not.
Is she a contest FBBr w/ some public posing experience under her belt?
If so, I can’t see the problem of working in front of the camera (w/ a friendly crew) given that you’ve already displayed yourself (presumably previously several times over) with an oiled up physique in a skimpy two-piece on a brightly illuminated stage in front of a live (and sometimes unpredictable) audience.
[FYI – this is my 6100th post.]

ParticipantHi Mimi. I think the studio needs to be better protected against these sudden cancelations. It’s unprofessional and bad for business. I don’t know if the FBB has to sign a contract before hand, but I think details like force majeure should be included.

ParticipantI would love for the guys to have a backup plan, but they are in a virtual FBB deadzone with few muscle models around them. They’re just going to have to rely on the more trustworthy ones. Plus, they’re reaching profitability so they’ll be able to travel around a little more to get better talent.
Our site got hacked yesterday too, completely wiping away everything we had. Thank God for backups!
