I see, AlexG. But do you have a copy of “Boomfood” or “The Inheritors” handy with you?

Boomfood I can help you with, via archive.org.

Block, copy and paste the URL into your browser.

Cowprobe might be able to point you toward someplace that has the other story archived.

Another author you might want to look into would be AuGoose, he posted a few stories back in the day that were quite detailed. The one that I recall best was “Code: AVATAR – A Plague of Angels.”

I’m working on a giantess story, that is sort of a deconstruction of a classic growing scenario with a focus on the psychological changes of the process. I hope to have it done by the end of the month. We’ll see how successful I am. Hoping my ambition doesn’t exceed my talent.

I don’t mind GTS actually, and I do like tall girls too. But I’ll keep that in mind, AlexG. Do you have any insights of your own on the psychological aspects of transformation stories, or conveying the psychological effects of through writing?

    It’s two different things:

    1. Transformation fetishes
    2. Female muscle, giantess, or femdom type fetishes

Transformation fetishes are commonplace. Attraction to tall, muscular or dominant women is also commonplace. So they’re two great tastes that go great together.

Fetishes can form in a lot of different ways, from what I understand. You can google that pretty easily – use the word “paraphilia” instead of “fetish” if you want the clinical stuff.

There are a lot of different types men who are into muscular women. Some are muscular themselves and admire it in others, but that’s not the norm. The most common types are probably men who want to surrender control, have strong feelings of arousal for an early sexual encounter in which the woman physically dominant, or are physically or mentally unable (or unlikely) to be the dominant partner.

In my case, I was a late bloomer. When I was 16 (and about 5’3″, 100 pounds) a very attractive 15-year-old girl, who had reached fairly impressive adult proportions and had seriously taken up weight lifting over the previous months (and was for some strange reason very attracted to me), picked me up, tossed me over her shoulder, carried me outside onto the grass, threw me down and pinned me. She did it all with seeming effortlessness, and she was pressed up against me and then kissed me.

I ran into her 10 years later at a party and she started to try the same thing, but by then I towered over her and it was pretty easy to put her in a headlock and give her a noogie. Total boner killer, though.

I’ve never had sex with a woman who’s stronger than me, although some of them have been pretty strong. I don’t think I would actually like it to be weaker than my partner, even though there was something undeniably thrilling about being conquered like that when I was a kid, especially because it was so surprising and I had no idea she was capable of it or inclined to do so.

I like the way muscular women look, especially when it exaggerates the shoulder:waist:hips ratio.

I also like the surprise factor of a transformation. That’s why the ones I’ve written are usually accidental or otherwise unexpected by some or all of the participants. I’m recreating this incident where someone I’d known as a scrawny little girl showed up in high school fully developed, stronger than me, and determined to make an impression.

There is an important difference between the two yes, but I like transformations involving both muscle and height. Do you have any stories, Lingster, that you’ve written deliberately for the sake examining the psychology of the characters encountering Amazonian transformations?

Oh, the things you miss on this site when you don’t post for many a moon.

This is a factor in fmg and transformation stories that I think is woefully underexplored. It’s not just the lack of character depth, but I think there is one important limiting factor, which is that inherently most authors in this subgenre are male, and I don’t think we have the ability to get inside the head of a female character. One problem I think that brings is that a common cliche in the milieu is for the newly powerful female to utilize her awesome power the way a young male would — through crude displays of force, violence, and vengeance.

The characteristics that I think get shorted are wonderment, fear, curiosity of how and why, and the aetherial euphoria. As mentioned earlier in this thread, Jimmy Dimples has done an admirable job exploring some of these themes. As have stmercy2020, kittykatrina, and megster. Plus many others that I’m just haven’t discovered yet. Since this genre is accessible on more mainstream art sites, I think we’ve seen it expand in more interesting directions. Hopefully this continues.

While my response is belated…you make a very good point. Too often, writers of this genre don’t properly consider the other sex’s perspective – especially if she could transform at will, and back and forth. However, a good slow-growth story, IMHO, would be Hunter S. Creek’s “Compounding Interest”. (I liked the psychological development of the characters in that story, in addition to the growth, of course.)

Just noticed this post. I must say this is something that in my stories I try to touch base on. Not saying I always if ever succeed in that.
I have one comic called Gym Owners Wife, that in that story a fit but non-muscular woman becomes much stronger than her alpha male husband. Its a slow growth fmg type story, where she gains the muscle through hard work and dedication. She does get more dominant as she gets stronger. But, she never stops loving her husband. He also gets a little weaker as well.
Its fantasy though as she lifts weights that are impossible to life.
One thing I like about this comic is its over 70 pages, so its a big one. But, its a bit crude in both storytelling and my artwork, as its one of my first comics I ever made. Didn’t understand the medium as well as I thought. Some of the artwork is good, some is pure shit.
I got more stories in the pipe that I am making that I hope to tackle more of the mindset. I got one story in the pipe that is about an out of shape couple getting into shape. But, the woman takes to weights like a fish to water. I’m going to try real hard and not go the domination route with that story, and make it a sexy muscle worship story instead.
But, yeah I always do my best to tell the best stories I can, its just that in this genre the fetish elements tend to cast a big shadow.
