I don’t like pumyra not getting a redemption arc and wilykit being lion-o’s queen is weird. It strikes me as man at arm permanently becoming a snakeman, something they toyed with but wasn’t actually set in stone. The silverhawks and tigersharks would have been cool to see. The background life was interesting too.

Yeah, I really liked Pumyra – made a nice counter to Lion-O as a potential girlfriend.

From her perspective she had every reason to hate him thinking that he was a coward who’d abandoned his people. However as time progressed she started to get a fuller picture of not only of what had really happened in the Fall of Thundara, but the kind of character of the person that he was rather then the caricature that she had built up in her mind. As she got to know him, she began to like him, which I think was not a compete act on her part – but genuinely felt. She pushed him at times when if she was wholly working against him that would not have happened – almost as if she was subtly attempting to warn him, but he missed the signals until it was too late.

As with what was initially proposed for the 2nd season some of those concepts most likely would have changed as they were debated and worked out more fully – especially not only giving her a chance at redemption, as you put it, but also Lion-O a chance to save her, too.

I also didn’t like the idea of killing off Tygra, either.

The fact that they were going to jump the 2nd season ahead in time by several years (a decade?) would have been interesting – as was the fact that they planned on completing the story arc with a conclusion with resolution.

I had intended to reply week ago but kept so I apologize for the very late reply.

To build on what you said about Pumyra they had a fairly easy out to get her on road to redemption. They just have her anger be amplified by mum-ra’s presents. That way her anger is still real but you have a window for lion-o and his action to break through. It also would help explain the betrayal or just make her one for one a wraith. Lion-o could use the stones to help cleanse or properly resurrect her. Then she can work in a six ranger like capacity where she earns everyone’s trust back before officially joining.I know it all sound cliches, but they never bothered me.

I didn’t like tigra dying either but him getting resurrected and how he dies was ok. The only thing about Tigra is he doesn’t get humbled and it sticks. He never seemed to understand why lion-o is truly chosen. Also unlike Lion-o he is seemingly rewarded a lot.

They he 2 or 3 times skip that seemed to equal 10-20 years. Such a large time skip and aarc/series resolution tells me they knew they were on borrowed time.
