The first meeting between Thundra and The Thing, and implicitely, the first apparitions of her character in Marvel comic books. I scanned for you the original version, as seen in Fantastic Four 129 & 130, then the rewriting of the encounter, published in Marvel Adventures… So, let's go back in time.  😉

Ah, yes, in her earliest incarnation she had a chip on her shoulder attitude, a real Femazon about men.

Then she got the hots for The Thing, and it changed her whole perspective.  That he wasn't interested in her, well – I guess strong and tall women intimate him.

Now she's married to Arkon, only after the two of them fought to a draw – and if not for the Comic Code would have consummated their union out on the battlefield in front of their combined armies.

Actually He did like her but was in a relationship with Alicia. I do recall in one comic with him in it he was asking why it was that he always fell for women that could beet the crap out of him. she hulk was hanging all over him back when they first met in… was marvel team up or two in one. Anyway i have quite a few issues with Thundra and really like them. She pretty much amways hands the thing his own butt. I think that the thing is a female muscle lover.  ;D
