I've finally started to use DeviantArt, so I'm starting a new topic for my work and I'll be keeping all future updates here.

First ever upload is here.  It's a preliminary sketch of Masschine's character Aki trying to fit into a leather bodysuit.  Since the arms are the focus of the drawing (honest, they are!) my additional sketches are also part of the scan.  The hands are a product of what I like to call "mirror referencing".  Sadly, the arms are not.  Then again, if I had arms like that, I'd be… governor of California, I suppose.

Anyway, I hope to have a final and finished image up within a few days, but it might not be until after the weekend.  Comments and critiques are, as always, welcome.

And here is the finished art. I'm pretty happy with it overall, there are a few areas I could nitpick but I haven't found anything egregious yet. I had intended for her facial expression to read something like "dammit, this is annoying me" but it reads more like "shit, father McKenzie will be walking through that door any minute with those Little House on the Prairie DVDs!"

I uploaded another image, it's here.  It is an image I've posted on this forum before, with only a minor touch-up.  So it's something you have seen before, most likely.

I plan to begin posting more artwork there, and will probably post notices here when it's something new (new meaning, it hasn't been published before, but some pieces may be quite old).  Some of the artwork that I will be uploading in the coming weeks will be stuff you have seen here or at EJ's current site, or even his older site or my old eretsim site when it was up.  Other work will not be of muscular females and thus of less interest to the folks here.  I don't want to bump this thread every couple of days just to share a link to artwork that is off-topic, so to speak.

PS- how do I post those little thumbnail links that I see people post all the time?  My URL links do the job, but they seem so wimpy by comparison!  😮

I used to use a pretty convoluted way to copy that stuff using the Share This / Blog this link in DeviantArt.  I recently came across a Firefox Add on called thumbnail copy which simplifies it a little, though you still need to convert the HTML to bbcode.  Still, it's a bit easier than uploading the thumbnail to an imagehost once you do it a few times.
