I'm more concerned with the idea that she advises working out in 80 degree heat, which sounds dangerous. Sweating a lot doesn't mean you're losing weight, it just means you're losing water. Not only do you gain that weight back as soon as you drink water to rehydrate yourself, it's not really healthy to dehydrate yourself during a workout. You're already going to sweat if you are working out. And Paltrow suggests that if she didn't exercise so hard, she'd weight 300 lbs, which is highly doubtful given her genetics.
People will do some pretty unhealthy things in order to promote healthier living. ???
As far as I'm concerned, it's pure quackery. ::) >:(
