Participant1) Apparently, milk is very important to your nutrition when working out. Milk gives me bad poops. Backs up my passages and makes me stink. I think milk is bad for me. Is there a good alternative? (And no, I couldn't ask this in a less babyish fashion.)
2) Why is it, guys will proceed to, for every exercise, use a multitude of different weights, bars, and bells, and yet be incapable of returning a single FUCKING ONE?! Every time I go to my gym, the weights are all over the place, racked up, barbells here, dumbells elsewhere. They'll work out in one corner of the gym with one set of equipment, move to a new space, use new equipment, then move somewhere else, use new equipment, and leave without putting anything back, obviously their purpose to make a some kind of circuit of mess rather than work out, the fucking pieces of shit. And none of them bring a towel, and sweat all over everything. Thank Christ it's spring and the door can be left open to let some fucking air in, the inconsiderate cunts that they are.

Participant1. I really dunno. I can take milk, but only in small amounts, where as I used to LOVE milk and drank it practically all day.
2. GAWD! I was just thinking that the other day! I was talking with the night shift guy about it because I had gone to use some of the dumbells, and there were like five or six sets all scattered on the floor in the corner! Not to mention he was having to pick up drinking cups left all over the place. WHat is with people?! They act like little kids!

ParticipantFett,
Um… the milk problem. You might be lactose intolerant, which can be treated with OTC medication.
Weights? If your gym has a policy, just let the manager know (if you don't mind being the complainer).

Its not just you – here's something from Elena Seiple's recent journal posting (March 16, 2007) and I've highlighted the pertinent portion. I'll only add that's I've run into the same problems in the past – and really get tick'd off when they leave the plates on the floor or stack the machines without cleaning them off when done.

I have to vent and tell you my PET PEEVES at the GYM:
1. PEOPLE WHO DO NOT CLEAN OFF THEIR WEIGHTS. If you don't clean them off, this is no lie, I track people down and will make you clean it off….while telling you how rude it is of you to NOT clean them off in the first place. I have no problems if you don't like me after that. You are the lazy one in the first place!
2. CELL PHONES…..oye vey and if you are sitting on a machine while talking on your cell phone I will come up , take it out of your hand and turn it off. TRY ME!!
3.Girls who do the stare down. Yes I realize I am different than you. But goodness gracious, spend more time training and worry about yourself than about me. I can read lips very well and can tell what you are saying and to be honest It doesn't bother me. Just remember I can very well tell you what I think of you … I just prefer to have a bit more class and not be rude.
4. Now men, don't think you get off easy either….Walking around all jacked up with lats flared and traps shrugged…um doesn't make you look bigger…makes you look…well rather stupid. Its obvious you are TRYING too look bigger. Which draws attention to the fact that perhaps you aren't as big as you think you are.
5. People who train in groups. Break up your groups into smaller groups to move through things quicker. To have a group of 5 guys all doing the same exercises ties up a machine for enormous amounts of time. Groups of 3 or less work best. One trains, one spots, one rests.
Thats all for today folks!

Something upset you, Fett? Just my uncanny intuition, I reckon, I mean, you didn't make it THAT obvious. ;D ::)

Participant1) I have a problem with regular milk but I go through about 2 gallons of skim milk a week with no problem so you might want to try that and if you are already, then I suggest you should go see a doctor because you might be lactose intolerant
2) Annnnnnnd as for racking my weights, I always do
3) and as for Elena Seiple, she is an ultra sexy fbb IMO, I don't understand how you clean off "weights" unless she means wiping down the barbells and pads on the benches and machines, then I totally understand but I always wipe down pads before I sit or lay on them anyway
4) yeah people on cellphones can be annoying but my gym is really huge so I usually dont have that problem, BUT if I am ever on my cellphone (which I dont even carry with me to the gym;) and someone comes and snatches it out of my hand THEN WE will have a problem TRY ME
5) and if Elena ever came to my gym to work out I would constantly stare, not because she is different from other females but because she is smokin hot
6) wish I had Elena as steady training partner, I could use a spotter on my bench press and decline press
7) Oh and did I mention that Elena Seiple is SMOKIN ;D

ParticipantYes, Ms Seiple is indeed very hot. ;D 8)

ParticipantOh! One thing I forgot to mention about the milk thing, Fett. There's also a possibility it's the preservatives in it bothering you if you drink like 2% or skim or skim supreme milk. Just take a look at the label. I can't drink anything but whole milk or I get really sick from it. There should be just two things in whole milk. Milk and vitamin D3. 2% and less you look at the label and it's a whole paragraph of shit and it's mostly all preservatives and artificial additives. Leaves you wondering… In all that, where the hell is the milk in my milk?
March 29, 2007 at 2:35 am #48727Fett
ParticipantThanks – I actually tried some milk at it was fine. It's possible it's because it was organic (thus, the lack of preservatives) or it wasn't a 'blender bomb' which is something I've made and really didn't make me feel good… hmmm.
I'll try it again and see what happens (I'm taking a kind of herbal pill thing to help the stomach) unless anyone can thing of a good alternative.
March 31, 2007 at 7:04 pm #48728L
ParticipantI wouldn't go crazy taking pills so I can drink milk, if the milk really bothers you that much than I would simply stop drinking milk
there are many other ways to get your protein and calcium intake
