Probably for the same reason the writers don't receive all that much in feedback.  Tho, in general, it's been my observation that the artists do seem to get more responses then those that write stories.  Maybe its because a picture gives them a quick fix whereas a story takes time, not only read, but to digest – and hense a lack of time to bother with posting a comment in return.

Hey man, let me just say that I still love your work and I can't wait for the next one, if I can suggest something, it seems you like writing just about as much, maybe you can write a whole story about one of your subjects, to me the stuff you write on the sides of the pics are just about as hot as the pics themselves, if you wrote a couple of pages of it, fleshing out the basic concepts with some history and background, some strength feats and muscle description, I could imagine that it would be an excellent read
