I got some tips.

1.) Treat them like a normal human being, because that’s what they are.

Don’t act like you’re best friends who haven’t seen each other in a long time. You’re a stranger and by default you should assume that they think of you as a creeper. So when you show that you’re a genuine nice guy they will be happy to chat with you.

2.) If you feel they are avoiding you or not making eye contact on purpose, that’s your cue to leave. They are obviously not comfortable.

3.) There’s going to probably be some mean FBB’s around, don’t let the grouchy apples spoil your fun. For every jerk there is a nice FBB willing to chat.

4.) Don’t ask how much they bench or whatever most girls with the exception of a few really aren’t interested in their numbers.

5.) Flattery will get you everywhere, maybe just come in and say wow you looked great up there and follow up with whatever you’re going to ask like pics.

Anybody going?

I will be leaving from So Cal Wednesday morning headed to the Orleans hotel. Can’t wait to check out the convention and hopefully get inspired by the athletes.

Hopefully I can get the opportunity to take some pics of some muscular gals. Any advice on how to approach these gals without pissing them off and others around them. I want to be perceived as very sincere, since I really am.

Can’t wait, I been due for a vacation. Nice road trip to clear my mind.

Since I live in Vegas, I’ll probably head over there one of the days probably on the day of the Ms. Olympia event which was on a Friday in 2010.

When I visited the Orleans prior to that event in the early afternoon, there were a slew of FBBs milling about the casino. They were getting pictures taken and people generally just chatting with fans. The FBBs I saw were not contestants but those who came to see the shows. They were in off-season form but looked fantastic. Short, tall, young, old but all very muscular. They were hanging out around the Alligator Bar. One looked like Anne Riviecchio whom I once spotted in 1998 in New Orleans, oddly enough.

Thanks for the great advice. The first fbb I saw was Iris Kyle when she checked in. She is monstrous. She is a massive gal. I will go as far as saying she is not just a big muscular woman, she is just a big human being. Lord have mercy is she intimidating. I will update hopefully with pics soon.

Seeing the girls in person, the winner for me was clearly Alina Popa. Hands down. Alina was the best.

Kyle was big, still not my favorite, but I dug Brigita Brezovac as well.

I met some really cool gals, and was dissapointed by how unfriendly some of the bodybuilders I used to admire were. Anyways I will post pics, anybody care to recommend how to post good quantities here? Otherwise I will post on my DeviantArt.

My suggestion, post here a sampling of what you concider the very best using the upload feature @ Amaz0ns. Maybe limit it to 11-13 or so w/ it. Or you could use Imageshack, or any number of other free severs to upload your images to, and then link them here.

When they will start giving it to the best woman on stage, and not because of political/promotional reasons? This makes me wonder if it could be considered really a sport competition..

I’m gonna have to disagree with you, I think. I would’ve liked to see another woman win, as well- and Alina was, for my money, certainly the prettiest of the competitors onstage- but Iris Kyle’s physique was, quite simply, the best. She was not the biggest, no, but her muscles showed better shape, definition, and maturity than any of the other competitors.
