It's been over a year since her last blog posting. Her pictures have vanished off of AMG-lite and last I heard she stopped updating her myspace too.

Did she retire? I know that the death of her mom hurt her greatly and I still have sympathy for her, but I am curious whether anyone has ANY information about her well-being at all. It just doesn't seem right for her to just fall off the face of the Earth. The Gina Davis she presented to all of us at least wasn't like that.

I hope the FBB fandom didn't scare her off or her boyfriend told her to lose the muscles or anything like that.

She was a beautiful woman with a bright personality with a lot of intelligence. She was aging extremely gracefully judging by the last pictures of her. I just hope someone here has been able to dig out some info on whether she retired, is on hiatus, or whatever.

Great question. Maybe my all time favorite and nobody seems to know the story ebyond little tidbits of info. Her site is still up and has some unreal material, but has not been updated since Nov 07.

Yes, I am a gina davis fan myself.  What happened was her mother was sick and died and she meet a guy.

Before she closed her myspace and before that it was private it was public.  Her and this guy was crazy for each other.  I use to read it.She meet a fellow on myspace and starting dating.  It got pretty serious.  Than her an her BF closed it at the same time.  Supposley, she was suppose to open a joint myspace account with this fellow.  Not seen she has yet. 

Here the kicker this guy about about 14 years YOUNGER than her and he a BB but not that built, more the learn and soild type.  If I remeber right he was about 6 1 and 225 on his website before he close it.  Check out these photos of got of him and her before they closed the myspace pages.

Ne neither on the pic, but that info is the same info as we already knew about her, her mother, my space, and the younger bf. I guess nobody here keeps touch with her any more. She used to be very responsive.

She had that couple of year window where I thought she could have been an all timer in terms of popularity…not contest wise when she was gorgeous, huge, and still feminine. Not sure we'l see a girl as great as her for awhile in terms of the whole package. We can only hope. Gina is pushing 40 now. Not old, but tough to keep that size/looks combo going as good as she had it as you age.

Maybe she decided to just go on with a normal life. She did seem pretty disgusted with alot of things about the sport.You never know for sure, but my guess is she's probably done which stinks.

She is one of my favourites, too.  I also suspect that she was turned away from BBing my the schmoes who don't know how to approach a lady and make "specialist" requests of someone who doesn't do that sort of thing.  Best of luck to her. 😉

I might sound like a leecher for the next two paragraphs, bear with me:

I was actually going to sign up for her gallery but if it's not going to be updated I don't want a recurring $13 charge to my account if there's not going to be anything new.

At what point does revealing the galleries and videos become fair? I would like to see how amazing she is for one final time but I don't want to be a member of her site if it's not easy to cancel and if there isn't anything new.

She's a great person and I also wish her luck with whatever she is trying to do. If she was turned off by BBfans it's everyone's loss for finally chasing her off. Bodybuilding has lost one of its greatest and most underrated people. Not enough people told her how appreciated she was, it's obvious that she had to have perverts hounding her. Gina made it very clear she didn't do some things and it doesn't surprise me if people didn't listen.

Respect the person in the pictures. She's not just some pretty, muscular statue. That's an actual person you're staring at. Treat her like a real person when you send messages to her or whatever because she IS a real person. I wish more people would realize that.

There are some real creepy schmoes out there and that might be part of it. She was also kind of turned off by some of the people and most certainly the judges in the sport. The death of her mother and the new bf might have also played a role. Perhaps not wanting to use the chemicals needed to be a pro in the sport factored in as well.
All mere speculation on my poart and anyone else who hasn't heard it from her though.

She did tell me she didn't like afew people or the judging in the sport, though she also had friends in the sport. Alot of fbs are spooked by certain schmoes. They view at as income though or just get out. Some people ruin it for all.

Ugh. You see a lot of these guys at contests, huge cameras in tow, pestering girls in the lobby for impromptu pics. You're exactly right, a few bad apples ruin it for the rest of us.
