I can't make book on this one.  😐

I don't know enough about their fighting ability, their mental states, how cool they'd stay in a fight, the environs, if there's anything handy to grab, throw, bodyslam into, et al…

Still… I'm thinking of an old Abraham Lincoln story… and how the giantess might put a palm forward into the bodybuilder's face, and simply, peacefully keep her at arm's length while musclebabe uselessly swings her fists through the air.  😆

I think your weight estimate is off for the giantess.  Remember that if you scale somebody up, they're not just growing in height, but also in width and depth.

A 10-foot person is 1.84 times the height of a 5 ft. 6 in. person.  But they'd also be 1.84 times as wide and 1.84 times as deep, or something.  I'm not sure this is the right calculation, but if you cube 1.84 you get 6.23, which might approximate the volume of the giantess.

So if that was right, then a 120 pound, 5'6" woman, scaled up to 10 feet (while still keeping the same proportions), weighs 747 pounds.  😮

    P.S. I am a huge nerd

    At 10 feet? I'd say 400lb is a bit more 'average' for 5'6 – 10'.

Now, does the buff girl have enhanced strength at all? Even still, she'd need to be 7' tall for 220lbs of solid muscle to even out around the same as the tall girl. I say the tall girl would win.

She's not neccesarily twice as strong. So chances are she's stronger than the average human, but no much more so than I am stronger than a someone standing only 3' or so with their average strength. Now, if that person was incredibly strong and buff for their size, I'd probably have a bit of trouble(i.e me vs a younger Richard Sandrak).

The giantess' strength is more than most man or womens, but her physical structure is still flesh and bone. The buff girl can catch her arm or hand and twist/squeeze.

There's a Giantes Calculator here:  http://www.gts2.net/gtsconverter.html I don't know the math behind the program but if you enter a 5', 110 pound woman and convert her to 10' the converter gives a weight of 880 pounds and a strength of 400 pounds(not sure what that specifies) An average sized Muscle Woman would be as tall as the giantesses hip and assuming Danielle Smith, who is 5'2, 180 and can bench 285, grows into a 5'8 inch average height for women, according to the converter she would weigh 237 pounds and have a bench of 376 pounds. Transform Danielle into a 7' tall Amazon and she'll wiegh 447 pounds and have a bench of 708 pounds, ye Gods!!

Interpret as you will but it seems to me that it would be a very even fight and the above estimate of a 10 foot tall woman's weight by iri10 quite accurate. Given all that I'd still choose the Muscle Girl to win, just because watching that much muscle working together harmoniously and buldging so obscenely in a fight would turn me into putty.

iiri is essentially correct on the weight issue, over 700 lbs. is more accurate than 200 lbs – a doubling of height approximates to an 8 fold increase in mass if density and proportions remain constant – which we're assuming they do int he intiial post.

Now then, as someone mentioned -too many factors to consider, so, like any good scientist, I'm going to remove all factors except for the one I'm testing. That means, we assume giantess girl and buff girl have the same level of combat training in styles of fighting that are equally advantageous and have no special benefits against the other aside from size and muscle as noted.

In this case, giantess girl has the advantage of height, reach and leverage, and to a degree strength.

If the fight goes to the ground, as noted earlier, Giantess Girl would dominate to an even greater degree as the only advantage buff girl has – mobility/agility – is lost in a ground fight.

I'd have to say clear advantage giantess.

Jumping on the "science-can-be-used-to-explain-this-or-any-fantasy" bandwagon —
How about imagining a controled experiement to eliminate some of the extraneous factors such as age, training, starting points, etc. —
Given some of the calculations cited by several folks above in explaining mass, density, and mechanical advantage.  —
Assuming average-sized identical twins were used and that one was then buffed* and the other gianted* to equivalent degrees (i.e., 25%, 50%, 200%, 1000%, etc.), the gianted* twin would gain more and more advantage over the buffed* twin as the degree to which the pair were altered from their starting point was increased.

    Tschuss!

Yes but is the giantessed twin's muscular efficiency making up for the buffed twins higher strength and better leverage?

muscular girl because she can aim better at close range assuming the giantess is twice her height. the giantess couldn't see her target as well as the amazon, and couldnt get as much relative power behind her hits.

*Cracks knuckles*You can find out some interesting stuff with this thing!

Example – She-Hulk at her strongest(we'll assume 100-200 tons lifting weight. 200 for fun ;)) being shrunk from 7'4, 750lbs(we'll assume that's how big she was when she bulked up) would be, at 6 inches tall to still lift 128lbs 😛

STILL outdoing most women of normal height.

Also note – At 400tons she is as strong as a strong male.

    😛 Fun!
