Well there aren’t any Kryptonian males on Earth except for her cousin Superman.

It doesn’t seem like that sort of thing would fly in either Kent’s Kansas upbringing or Power Girl’s various origin stories.

So Powergirl’s left on a planet where the males sort of resemble her species but she might not find attractive due to different pheromones and body language.

As for a less rutting oriented set of goals maybe she’s playing the field. The power dynamic of the relationship is often in her favor so that might lead her to be very discerning.

Also acclimation and early experiences could have something to do with it. Clark Kent was raised given the expectations of an American Earth male in a small rural community. Powergirl has so many damn origins that it’s hard to figure out her formative years.

Then again my favorite incarnation of her was where she was always drawn as if she was slightly drunk.

As for story reasons why she’s free of relationships? Perhaps her lack of luck in love provides a different tone than Superman being henpecked by Lois Lane.

    Thanks for the post GWHH!

She needs some tips from She-Hulk. Wingfoot Wyatt may not be on her power level, but she knew how to keep him.

Here another reason why PG can’g get a boyfriend:

Power Girl Has Grown. She was 5 7 & 160 Pounds In 2004 in the offical DC Comics Reference Guide.

All the new sources say she 5 11 and 180.

Will check the new updated offical DC Comics Reference guide and see what that says and get back to you all!!

She just needs to find someone who is comfortable with her size (I suspect quite a few people on this board would match that description).

So we still haven’t answered the question, how much of it has to do with her personality and how much it has to do with her physical looks. i personally dont mind the looks, but her personality i agree is a bit off-putting
