ParticipantI was pondering this topic the other day and thought I'd ask some of you fine folks. Put simply, why do some women really like FMG?
Not that there's anything wrong with it, but I'm merely curious. Some of the women I've spoken with who show even a mild liking to FMG seem to focus on the destruction/revenge aspect of it. Like FMG is a manifestation of destructive tendencies they have to keep repressed and sometimes spill out, much to the delight of some onlookers.
Yet, there are some that seem to delight in daydreaming about letting it all go and growing right out of their clothes. FMG to me just always seemed like a viewer oriented idea, it just seems odd that the subject would really, really want it too.

ParticipantWell part of it is of course the feeling of empowerment, the other slightly more obscure part of it is a sexual thrill maybe for some… hope that helps. Love Sammi

KeymasterWell, my experience has been somewhat different. Outside of those that are inclined to workout on a regular basis, the rest usually dismiss the concept (in one way or another) of femuscular development as unfeminine looking.
As for active involvement on-line, it seems to me that more of them lean towards the SW genre then FMG or GTS, perhaps because they are more comfortable with it.

ParticipantAh, that's cool, AlexG. I was just wondering why the genre's female fans do like it. I think we all know the prevailing view that women feel muscles and the like as unfeminine (cries) but what I was looking after was the reason for the minority view.
And it's also cool for guys to post their hypotheses as well. The site's female lurkers can continue to lurk to their heart's content! That's fine by me.

ParticipantI like it for the same reason guys like it. Makes blood flow south. ;D
Haha. Okay.. well. I don't think it makes them seem less feminine at all. But also I prefer FMG in an art sense because.. I like HUGE sizes most of the time.. though, no one I've seen has done it just right.
The reason I don't think it's unfeminine (in an art sense, how I like it, and through my own drawings) is that I very much like massive breasts aswell (which are very feminine) and I also have a huge prgnancy fetish going on.. which is also incredibly feminine. Putting both of those on a huge, curvy female muscled frame just enhances them a lot for me.But I don't think I ever talked to you before. 😀 Hi. (P.S. before you ask.. yes.. my prefference is for women.. ::) )

ParticipantOh, that's all cool SyberStyk lol. Naw, that question about preference wasn't on my mind ;D, but I appreciate you for posting your response.
I'm just a newbie around here but a long time FMG/BE fan, although I'm sure if I ever posted any of my 3D stuff here (strict beginner stuff, mind you), I'd probably get criticized for not making the gals big enough lol. Nevertheless, I gotta admit I love anything that makes breasts swell to massive size along with creating very nice creative wardrobe malfunctions. So woot for FMG for me!
But I suppose I wanted to post the question because I do have a couple platonic friends that really enjoy my stuff and one went so far as to propose Valentine's Day as a day for hulking out to relieve anxiety. So… the question of women liking FMG piqued my curiosity.
He he, blood flowing south… we don't know why it does it but we just like it :D.

ParticipantNot being a woman, I couldn't tell you but I would say it's probably to do with things about strength and power.
Poser is a harsh mistress but I think it's like any arty thing, you've got to stick with it, ask experts and so on.

ParticipantFor me it started with a tape of the incredible hulk cartoon where jen changed into shehulk and it seemed as if she was enjoying it to an almost sexual extent. It stayed on my mind for a long time and I wanted to feel that kind of change. In theory it should be very painful i guess but i always think of it as an orgasmic experiance.

ParticipantI'm not a female but I always assumed that it was as SammiChung noted — empowerment. The few women that I know who work out with weights usually don't mention that as a reason for their desire to be stronger until after I've gotten to know them a bit better. Then they all seem to eventually mention "empowerment" as the reason. I suppose a corollary question would be — "Why don't they feel comfortable mentioning that right off the bat?"
Tschuss!

ParticipantPart of the reason someone may not mention power in the first place is because power is an unspoken thing. One doesn't question its existence, it's just there. Not mentioning in the first place is a way to safeguard that creeping feeling some of us have that we don't have power.
For some of us, we would like it if power could be a switch we could just flip and suddenly have it, like a woman (sometimes commonly identified as frail) who wants to be truly uber and in doing so grows to tremendous size…
Something Alex said also bears mentioning, I think. What is it about FMG and GTS but not SW that some might find uncomfortible? It probably couldn't hurt to keep this discussion still in the hypothetical, because the last thing anyone wants is to say why something makes them uncomfortible lol.
Also, what are more reasons why some women hide the empowerment drive like Hunter said?
