Problem is, Mimi, you knew the film was good and not exploitative, but the FBBers you and your friend contacted weren't to know this. Unfortunately, I've heard about some of the offers they get, and most are not good. 🙁

Say it isn't so! 😉 8)
Uhm, that would be… as blunt as a lady can be…
Shit outta luck…
But that will be the only time you'll see me curse, sweetie. Enjoy it… 😉

In this environment, FBBers are objects and would be unlikely to be treated substantively a majority of the time. And if a FBBer was seeking some (erotic) online RP, they could most likely charge for it anyhow.
I can think of very little upside beyond satisfying their own personal curiosity as to the motivations behind FBB/FMG/GTS fetishes. There are far more appropriate forums which are more specific to the training and day to day life of BBs than this one.

I think you underestimate a lot of us. Speaking for myself, I am more than capable of seeing FBBers as interesting people with full personality and not just a body.
July 25, 2008 at 6:39 am #73705CDRParticipantI agree. I don't think that's the rule. I would say that MOST of us are smart guys who can treat people decently.
On the other hand community activities like this one show big degrees of entropy effects. It doesn't matter if 10.000 of us behave perfectly, just 0.1% of antisocial idiots can and WILL make fbb's here feel uncomfortable, lowering dramatically our chances to have nice fun all together.
HOWEVER I think we have a much bigger percentage of women among us than in the past (you know who you are 😛 ) meaning that we're headed in the right direction and that we should keep at it.
Anyway we should all thank the mighty Lingster here for giving us the appropriate place to gather in the first place.
THANKS MAN!!!
Oh! and remember that PRO bodybuilding takes a LOT of time and effort. Some fbb's simply wont have the time to check on internet forums.July 26, 2008 at 12:35 am #73706Michael PouliotParticipantI think you underestimate a lot of us. I don't doubt that you can. But that's not the point. This board is not about general social coffee talk. It's about FMG/GTS/FBB fetishes. Sure, there's a chit-chat "Free For All" thread. But that is not a focal point of this forum.
So I'll ask again, why would a FBBer want to participate in this forum? I don't think it's at all relevant that some (maybe even most) members of this forum would treat them courteously. They can get courteous treatment at any number of places. So why participate here?

Contact with their fanbase, perhaps?
July 27, 2008 at 2:02 am #73708DanParticipantI think it would be great if an fbb did. But am I wrong in assuming that the majority of athletic/bodybuilder (esp. female) people aren't going to be that interested in internet forums? It's a bit of a nerd dream to talk to some of these women I think, it's not that likely.
