I think it would be great if an fbb did. But am I wrong in assuming that the majority of athletic/bodybuilder (esp. female) people aren't going to be that interested in internet forums? It's a bit of a nerd dream to talk to some of these women I think, it's not that likely.
As I said earlier, most of them that do want to associate with the fanbase/fanboys hang out at the DtV chat rooms – or for more serious discussions i.e. trading training info or what's the lastest gossip in their niche community – a significant number of them post at the Muscle Mayhem "Girrls" forums. I might add, not all of them there are well-known contest-type FBBrs, but rather of the lifestyle and/or personal trainer kind.

There is minimal participation of the women on any of the male oriented fan boards.
At one time there was more but now most interact with their fans via the cam sites – which of course can lead to considerable income for them.
The boards they do post on actively are primarily competitor/industry oriented.

I'm not sure, but I thought Wendy McMaster (an FBB whom I've had the pleasure of getting to know) was verbally attacked by an unknown newbie. Of course, my memory isn't 80% reliable…but things like that could be a reason why not many FBB post.
I also agree with the reasons stated in other posts. Too often, we have the ones who say "take it off and show what you've got"…and others who say "ewww". One more thing I've found, is that most FBB's don't like being asked about how much they can lift, measurements, or sometimes, even bodybuilding itself. It seems unusual, but true in some cases.
Sorry about the length…I couldn't contain it. 🙁

We've had a few name-known ones post here in the past; Sarah Dunlap is the one I remember best. ;D
She learned about my Amazon GTS collages and liked my portrayal of her towering over portions of Chicago.
For the most part, however, they seem to prefer to hang out in locales like siouxcountry or muscle mayhem.
