What is the exact nature of the politics that have kept Amanda out of this year's Arnold?

Here's here letter to her fans:

Hey everyone, don't know what to say but that I have yet to get a response as to why I was not invited (to the Arnold Figure International). It's invitational so it's not based on how I did last year or the year before it's based on votes. I think people can come to their own conclusion on why without me saying what I know. I am ok with it now, I have moved forward even though yes it hurts because it was a huge dream of mine taken away…..it is what it is. I think times like this help you learn so much about yourself and how strong of a person you are and have become. My values and beliefs and how I treat others defines me not the stage and I am learning this everyday, I say I have no regrets because i think they are all lessons in life. I don't want to ever look back and I think I didn't do something because I was afraid of regret. If this is the case of why I am not going then so be it. I would never change my personal life to please a judge or anybody for that matter you shouldn't have to because your personal life is just that… not what body you bring to the stage. I have no ill feelings towards the industry, David and I respect the people that choose to compete because we know the dedication and the determination that goes into competing. It will always be a part of my life!

I have received a lot of messages from fans, they have been very supportive through all of this so thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you for keeping me motivated. As for me and my relationship I would never turn my back on someone that is going through a tough time no matter what it was. I had to find my priorities in life and they are my family and sticking by those that need me. D is going through a tough time right now it's a fight everyday just to make it. I hear people say he is getting off "easy", if only they could walk in his shoes for one week you would know it's never easy. It all comes down to we all make mistakes in life some are bigger then others but it's a mistake and you have to live with it day in and day out. You take your punishment or for some they never get called out on there mistake and you move forward. It doesn't mean someone is a bad person nor does it define who they are bc in life we grow and with lessons we face we become a different person everyday. I wish all the girls the best of luck the weekend at the Arnold, it was my most memorable show bc it truly epitomizes the industry as a whole with the amount of fans that attend.

For the girls out there getting ready to compete stay focused and driven but don't ever stray far from what you believe in your heart. I was always asked what motivated me, back then I would say the win, the fight, and the things that I had to give up, but now it's my fans the people that can see how you can change your way of life by being healthy. Once you can look in the mirror and be happy with the person you see inside and out you can then be an even better person to those around you (family, friends,loved one) etc….

D and i won't be attending the Arnold this year instead I will be focusing on some other projects I have in the works.

It seems D is Dave Jacobs and has allegedly used steroids. As a result, they've punished Amanda because they're in a relationship and not allowed her to compete. Which makes very little sense.

Right.  Fom reading the thread, there are two possible explanations:

1.  Her boyfriend, a BBer, was pinged for steroid use.

2.  As she has muscles, and a voice that is a little deeper than average, she's been excluded to make an example.

My responses:

1.  Lamelamelamelamelamelame.  He's a BBer and he takes 'roids?  No shit Sherlock!  (For fucks' sake – they all take steroids!)

2.  So Figure is now a muscle-less bikini contest, is it?  Great.  That's a sure-fire way to reward the women's committment and traiing stick two fingers up at the women's committment!

Look, I've said for ages that the IFBB needs to discourage steroid use, but, if that's the best they can come up with, then they should all RESIGN.  NOW! 

Plus, if that "Arnold Rep" from the MDM forum IS from the IFBB, he's a disgrace to them.  If he's a troll, then he's a disgrace to humanity. 

Memo to numpties at IFBB:  The way to reduce steroids in FBBing and Figure is to warn competitors 6 months (at least) beforehand that they will be tested at the event PLUS re-write the judging criteria and email the competitors a copy.  It's NOT FUCKING ROCKET SCIENCE!

Sir Fett answer the first part, I'll make a run with the second part, as best as I can recall.

She previous was into FBBing, quite beautifully buffed looking, with striking attractive profile to go along with it.  Then she shifted her focus to figure-fitness, sliming down conciderably.  Most (meaning the fanbase) considered her period of bbing (best captured by FTVideo and Herbiceps) to be her superior appearance, tho, even slimmed down she was still a head turner.

Some bio info can be found on her AMG lite page, tho her website, seeming gone now, was the better source.

BTW Alexander – thanks for the info. 8) 😉  I knew a bit about Amanda but not much.  I will say that I've always felt that she is one of the most attractive Figure competitors (though her BBing photos are hotter); to single her out is utterly ludicrous.  I'm sorry for my attack of pottymouth in my post.  I lost my cool because I think that those who have done this are low-lives, pure and simple. >:(

I don't know, but bear in mind that Marja is an FBB, whereas Amanda is in the Fitness class.
