Wonder Girl Got Muscles In The Young Justice TV show
March 4, 2013 at 3:56 am #112898saculParticipantyeah she does! she’s more on the toned side i think similar to korra, but i think its nice to see that its becoming more acceptable
March 4, 2013 at 3:59 am #112899khuddleParticipantI actually noticed that in some of the episodes she does have muscles while in others she doesn’t. Weird inconsistency.
They also have her as a pretty spectacular fighter, which is always a plus.

Season 1 of YJ was pretty good, but Season 2 has really impressed me — the stroylines, the new characters, but particularly the stunning animation has blown me away, incredible for an animated TV series. Really hope they keep this series running.

Oh you poor doomed child.

Yeah, like another great CN series, Thundercats.
Currently they’re re-running the 2011 season on Adult Swim on Sat/Sun at midnight.
Last I read, it’s not been officially cancelled yet – only in hiatus, so it said.
BTW – if you want the original music score soundtrack CD, it was released this past fall of 2012.

And what do we get to replace them: “Beware the Batman”, yet ANOTHER Batman animated series this time with the animation in CGI, and “Teen Titans Go!”, a Teen Titans reboot (which was a very childish series as I recall). Yuck.

This isn’t the first time that CN management has pulled stuff with great stories and animation. A decade or so ago, you had Justice League/Justice League Unlimited (which in the last season they treated in the scheduling like an unwanted step-child), the rebooted version of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, and Megas XLR.
BTW – JL/JLU is geting a re-run renaissance Saturday mornings on the CW/Vortex lineup, locally on WGN.

I get the feeling McDuffie and not Timm was really brains behind Justice League and JLU, because DC has not been able to reproduce anything of that quality since his untimely death.
