I think she looks divine. But that story is part of an era that I don't care for. 😛
March 19, 2006 at 8:04 pm #24596David C. MatthewsParticipantSomeone should show these pages to Joss Whedon and the powers-that-be at Warner Brothers Pictures and say, "WW should look like this!"
*snerk* Like that'll ever happen… 😡
March 19, 2006 at 10:37 pm #24597LingsterKeymasterWell, they're not going to do her in CGI – though I wish they would do the whole movie that way – maybe Rotoshop the whole thing to give it a comic-book feel.
So it's most likely that he'll cast a live-action, A-list actress who can (and will) beef up enough to play the role, and also has the height to be convincing in the role. That narrows it down quite a bit. Katherine Heigl could do it, as I've suggested her before.
There's also a slim possibility that he could cast a well-know athlete in the role, such as the beautiful and uber-buff Gea Johnson. (She's 38 but doesn't look it.) That's been done in the past, especially in the early days of Hollywood. Johnny Weissmuller, Buster Krabbe and of course Esther Williams were all famous swimmers before they became movie stars. Bruce Jenner had a notable movie career, as have numerous football players.
March 19, 2006 at 11:20 pm #24598AlexGKeymasterActually, I posted some of the Uber-buffed WW panels from JLA #90 a long while back when Amaz0ns was still She-Grew, might even still be listed in the stacks of previously posted topics . . . but it's always good to re-see them once again. 😀

Rotoscoping would take forever, and a CG Wonder Woman just doesn't really say anything for me. I've already seen her in cartoons, but I want to see her represented in our "human" world.
I want to see what she would look like translated into the real world, because that's what creates the ability to believe that maybe a Wonder Woman could exist in some form or fashion.
I'm expecting Joss Whedon to pick an actress he is familiar with, who is quite possibly going to be not as buff as the one in the comics. But we'll see what happens…
March 20, 2006 at 1:20 am #24600Tara_CrossParticipantI think it's doubtful they will pick an actress and have her buff up. Ever since i started reading this i had the feeling they would cast Catherine Zeta Jones don't ask me why.
March 20, 2006 at 10:25 am #24601HolidayParticipantDon't worry about that. They've already announced they want a younger actress to play the part. It serves their plans for sequels, so she has to look young for a good six to nine years. Stupid Hollywood. So obsessed with the young audiences.

Now that is Wonder Woman!
This Wonder Woman is really lifting those weights?
This must be fairly recent huh? What issue is this? Anybody know?
