ParticipantThis movie has the OMAC's as the main villain, so why are they mentioning Talia al Ghul as a character?
Say what now?

OMAC: DC's current version of Marvel's Sentinels. They appeared in DC's "Infinite Crisis" over a year ago. Maxwell Lord was revealed to be the architect behind them.
Talia al Ghul: daughter of Ra's al Ghul. Part is rumored to be played by Theresa Palmer. If she's in it why not her father, or the arch-enemies of the other superheroes?

ParticipantI won't compain about Miss Gale in the looks department. I have no doubt that by the time the movie shoots she'll look exactly how the studio folks want her to look. Now the acting.. that's another story. I hope they didn't cast her just because she was cheap and available (see Brandon Routh)

I know who they are. I just hadn't heard about any of this before.

ParticipantCheck this crap out! Due to the writers' strike the JLA movie project is now on hold. But what's got me angry is that the cast could be let go if the production doesn't start within their contracted schedule. >:(
So does that mean they aren't serious about this cast? All that effort and speculation gone to waste? The tights can fit anybody?
http://movies.yahoo.com/mv/news/va/20080117/120055981400.htmlThe decision to put the project on hold now frees up the actors who had been cast in such roles as Superman (Scott Porter), Batman (Armie Hammer), Wonder Woman (Megan Gale), Green Lantern (Common) and the Flash (Adam Brody). Extensions on their contracts expired Tuesday. The studio is not afraid of losing the actors because playing iconic superheroes in "Justice" is seen as a starmaking turn.

ParticipantOn a podcast Joss Whedon said the WW film is officially dead. I prefer if Joel Silver and his bosses confirmed that. So I can say to them "thanks for nothing" and "F-you very much". >:(

ParticipantConsidering that the WB exec is convinced that female leads do not bring in box office numbers. You can pretty much bet this movie is going to be dead for a long while.
