ParticipantThe Justice League movie was put on hold because without the writers they can't make adjustments or rewrites to the script as the see how bad one actor is or isn't.

ParticipantYes, the writers strike is getting pretty old.
DC has been fumbling with a Justice League film for ages… Marvel might be missing more than hitting with its films – critically if not financially – but bless 'em, they try.

Aye, and they've recently gotten an agreement to continue with their next projects.
And this year, Dark Knight will be surrounded by other superhero films.
May 2nd – Iron Man
June 13th – Incredible Hulk
June 27 – Wanted (A supervillain story/ Universal Pictures)
July 4th? – Hancock (Will Smith! Columbia Films)
July 11th – Hellboy: the Golden Army
July 18th – Batman: Dark Knight
Sept. 12th – Punisher: War ZoneWhat's a Weiner Brother to do?

According to reports, the team has made this a separate new film. No mention of the Ang Lee's work will be made.
And Iron Man does look cool. The shop scenes are waaaaaaaay cooler than Batman Begins. And Robert Downey Jr. has Tony Stark keeping it real. $$$$$$$ đ

ParticipantThe JLA flick has been postponed until 2010. ::)
But check this out Movieholes.
In the case of the latter, Australiaâs Herald-Sun Newspaper says that a 2010 start date, rather than mid-2008, is now being eyed. Apparently much of the cast have gone and booked themselves up this year, but more importantly, the studio has realised the film isnât ready to roll. No big loss â except for Megan Gale who has just quit her day job [as a runway model] to become Wonder Woman [Snigger].
Well now, if Megan was that dedicated to the role that's more than we can say about her co-stars and WB! Maybe she does have potential!

ParticipantI feel sorry for poor Megan Gale.
