I don’t see this gritty reboot lasting very long. On another super heroin it’d be cool, but Wonder Woman’s super powers has always been her kink. Everything about her look was that of an all american dominatrix (Bustier, high-heel boots, cuffs, she even brings her own rope). So much so that at one time her weakness was she’d lose her strength if someone tied her hands behind her back.
This new look takes all of that away, kinda giving her a more cowboyish look, which’d be cool if it were someone else.
Love the Big Barda pic btw

That’s an interesting idea. What would a cowgirl motif look like for Wonder Woman? At least they can move the stars around more freely.

Who? It looks like an episode of Mutant X. No – they weren’t that memorable either.
Ick. Someone who doesn’t watch ‘Fringe’ somehow snuck into the forum.

I really don’t like this new look. As mentioned before. it looks like Black Canary, and Rouge. Part of the look kinda reminds me of Superboy from the 90’s.
I think it is a very crappy look. If they wanted to move forward, they should have just started piling up the muscle on her. Some of the best Wonder Woman Books have been the ones where they have been generous with the brawn.
I think it is a shitty look. I will definitely bring this up with some of the DC reps at Comic Con this month. Just to give my valued opinion.

If you read it you’ll find out all about why certain things are going on. As far as piling on the muscles save that for Power Girl, not Diana. Do you know why fan-face… “’cause she’s the Goddamn Wonder Woman.” In nicer words these ain’t your DC Comic anymore….FANBOY!!!!

Seems we’re the only two here that watch “Fringe”, Boss. 😉 B)

Mutant X is all kinds of awesome simply due to Victoria Pratt in tight leather and midriff baring tops :angry:I don’t recall Victoria Pratt baring her midriff or wearing tight leather in Mutant X. She did in Cleopatra 2525, and that aired about the same time. Though after watching most of Mutant X’s first season I got bored and tuned out, so maybe my memory’s rusty or she changed up her look as the show continued.
As far as Wondy’s costuming goes, I liked the Justice Lord look shown in the Justice League animated series…always thought it was a practical variation on her outfit.
