ParticipantFlint was a "hero" the last time I looked. Notice i use the term hero a little lightly because Stormwatch were a government brantch and had to follow some questionable orders. She was deffinately a cool character though and had some of the ugly realiteis of super strength appear in her books. An example of this is once on a mission to rescue hostages she snuck up on a guy and socked him in the jaw so hard his head exploded and since Image was run buy artests (which had both good and bad points) you got to see all the details. Busted bones pushing though the skin, eyes popping out, teeth shattered, I even think there was some brain matter. It was sick and rather neet ;D I always liked the character but felt she never got enough show time. She ussually made a social appearence or two and then threw some punches and that was about it.

ParticipantGreat story. Very nice to see a woman in a story who has an absorption power use it to punish those who are worthy of punishment and not go overboard and take the strength of every one around her.
ParticipantI liked year Zero but I enjoyed Year One much more. I thought the story took some good turns and the characters were much more likeable. (Yes i like stories based on good characters as much as I like femuscle). Year One showed both good and bad asspects of a sudden muscle and strength growth of women.
Not all women who experienced muscle growth and strength increase would become dominating violent monsters. Many became protective and my gueiss is that some would even learn to be more gental as to not hurt the men they loved whom they now outclassed in physical strength and toughness.
Like I said, overall I thought both storeis were quite a good read but I had a much better feeling with the second one. -
