    I've been lurking about waiting for the right moment to re-surface. But I overslept and missed that perfect moment so I'll just pop up now.

    Just curious, but what is/was the "right moment" to re-surface?

    Huh, I can't view that latest page. I'm usually logged in to DeviantArt, but at the moment it says "deviantART is currently in read-only mode for system maintenance" at the top of the page, so I suspect that might be the problem.

    Watch out – when they described Mos Eisley as a wretched hive of scum and villainy, it was only because London would have been too expensive to film in.

    I always thought they were talking about New Jersey, personally.  :-[

    It's new. I'm pretty sure the one next to Dawn wasn't drawn by FemXman, unless you're thinking of a different picture than I am.

    I can appreciate that perspective, but that sort of writing style just doesn't appeal to me. I've written some first-person stuff, and for what it's worth, I try to make it not ramble; I find it distracting. Sure it might make sense to the person doing the talking, since it's his/her mind, but for the sake of the reader it's just confusing, I think.

    Diff'rent squids for diff'rent kids, I suppose.

    Hey! That's not nice! I write all of my stories with stream-of-consciousness, too! Is there something that you would like to tell me?  😉

    An opinion doesn't have to be nice. 🙂

    Your stories don't read like his does, though – there's a difference between WRITING it stream-of-consciousness, and having it actually read that way, where sentences just trail off, or go on and on for paragraphs, or don't make any sense when you re-read them.
