ParticipantLooks like it's down again. 🙁
AbyssPlanet
ParticipantIt's been down for me since yesterday afternoon.
AbyssPlanet
ParticipantWell I totally lost my login info, where would I go about recovering it?
AbyssPlanet
ParticipantIt was my fault… When i added yesterdays update to the flash file, i did it to the old one which didnt have the buttons linked yet… It has been fixed now SORRY for the inconvenience!!!
It's alright, glad it's been fixed. 🙂
All the same, having some tiny text links underneath the flash links would probably prevent this in the future. 🙂
AbyssPlanet
ParticipantDo you have a direct link to the members section that I could bookmark? For some reason the flash on the mainpage isn't working properly for me – when I click on "Members", nothing happens. 🙁

ParticipantTo be honest i have no idea what will it show up as on the statement… ??? my corporation's name is fem-power inc. Thats the most likely name i think but ill ask at CCbill CS
Awesome, thanks for checking up on it for me. 🙂
AbyssPlanet
ParticipantSilly question I guess, but what does it list the charge as on your credit card when you sign up? I ask because the last thing I need is for my parents to see my credit card statement and wonder what "FEM POWER EXTREME" is. :p

ParticipantI just might have to join, how much is the membership cost?

ParticipantI'm assuming each fan will have a favourite among the 481 FBBs listed – who's site they would be most likely to join. Therefore the average number of fans per FBB = 40,000 fans / 481 fbbs = 83 fans per fbb on average.
But that merely assumes each visitor only has one favorite. I know I have more than one favorite that I visit at AMG.
Of course, there's a dozen other variables involved, too. Repeat visitors, unique IPs, all of that alters the "40,000 FBB fans" number.
And of course there's the number of people who'd pay for a pay site. Some people might be willing to subscribe to 10 pay sites, while other people wouldn't sign up for any. I personally would love to sign up for pay sites, but I physically can't afford it. I simply do not have the spare income to do so. If I did, I'd personally sign up for several.I was merely pointing out that your "83 fans per FBB" number is pretty much unverifiable. Your math makes enough sense on the surface, but there's a whole lot of other factors it leaves out that would drastically alter that number in both directions.

ParticipantAMG lists 481 FBBs in their side bar. So assuming an even distribution of fans: 40,000 fans /481 FBBs = 83 fans per FBB on average.
That math doesn't work because it assumes that people only visit 1 FBB page on AMG or something like that. If there's 481 FBBs on the site and those 40,000 fans each visited all 481 pages on AMG, then that's 40,000 fans per FBB.
In fact, an easier way to gauge how many fans each FBB has is to look at the hits, like you said initially. The page got 40,000 hits? That's possibly 40,000 fans for that FBB (distinct IPs and repeat visitors aside, of course). -
