ParticipantAw shucks, you're making me blush.
I think an image everyone could agree on is Dawn right in the middle of an intense workout, her wet hair sticking to her sweaty body. She could be curling a really heavy set of dumbells and getting her arms huge and pumped.
I'd buy that for a dollar :-D.
I'd second that. 😀

ParticipantThere is very little Reason in your words, dear Abyss, and no words of Reason towards our dear Kulli.
Why not? The bolded words in my above post are the important ones. I don't appreciate getting bitched at when I'm offering suggestions, and the only reason I'm getting bitched at is because Kulli didn't tell us what she already did, and gets annoyed when she gets suggestions she already tried (but we had no way to know what she already tried, because she didn't tell us).
If she wants help on the matter, then perhaps she should be a little bit more open to people's replies, and actually think about what people say. If she doesn't want help, then perhaps the thread should just be locked down.
I've moderated forums before, and I've seen this *exact same* situation come up before (although not involving DeviantArt). Hell, I've even had content lifted straight off my websites in the past.

ParticipantFor Christs sake YES I HAVE TRIED TO CONTACT HIM.
Hoshit that clear now? Just 'cause I didn't say I HAD doesn't mean I didn't 'cause I sure as hell never SAID I DIDN'T.
YES I contacted DA but for some reason they said it wasn't a problem even though they said there was a certain similarity- and even though copying is against their rules.
SORRY but there ain't much ELSE I can DO other than be pissed off.I don't fucken care to argue anymore, 'cause most people are saying I'm wrong anyways. So fine. Whatever.
Obviously you didn't say that you didn't do those things. However, if you don't want to hear repeat suggestions, perhaps you should, oh, I don't know… tell us what you did do, preferably before you start getting suggestions.
I've only been trying to be helpful, and you've only been caustic in response, and I sure as hell know I don't appreciate it.
Finding out that you contacted DA and what their response was is the sort of thing you should have told us in your first post in this thread. It helps us gauge the situation and try to figure out other courses of action. But no, you'd rather get angry because people are offering suggestions, but they happen to be suggestions for things you've already tried, and of course there was no possible way for us to know you already tried them, because you didn't tell us.I don't understand why I always have to be the Voice of Reason on topics like this.

ParticipantThat Powergirl figure is great, but this is easily the most muscular female action figure I've seen:

The pic doesn't do it justice, and I can't find a good one online

ParticipantVERY nice work. Although I can't wait to see more of Shredia. 😀 😉

ParticipantUh.. where did I say I didn't try to say something to him? 🙄
Well, looking back through the thread, you certainly didn't say that you did try.
Oh, and slightly off-topic:
One person DOES NOT have THAT MANY styles.
May I direct your attention to the Perry Bible Fellowship webcomic. Aside from being an absolutely hilarious webcomic, it's all drawn by one guy, and he has a myriad of different styles he employs; it's really quite impressive.
No, I'm not defending the guy who copied your work. I'm just saying that yes, it is possible for people to have multiple art styles.April 8, 2006 at 7:28 pm in reply to: Sorry, but I’m not happy about people COPYING MY ART or anyone ELSE’S either #25720AbyssPlanet
ParticipantJust a thought here, but has anyone considered contacting the guy? If it bothers you that much, bitching about it over here (where it's obvious that he's not going to show himself) isn't going to get him to change his behavior or remove the offending artwork.

ParticipantI told him to buy an anatomy book.
Obviously I am criticizing his portrayal of the human body.
and 00tree – THat's no excuse for not knowing how it's put together.
There's less caustic ways to say it, though; I got PMed by the Mods about my post back when I made it in response to yours, and they were in agreement with me on this.
And 00tree has a point; there's a reason why it's called "art", and I daresay Mr Shhh isn't the only (let alone the first) artist to post on these forums who had done art that defied human anatomy. I suppose, if given the chance, you'd like to tell Pablo Picasso to "go buy an anatomy book" as well?
Your post was not constructive, let alone constructive criticism. It was trolling. Criticism would have been something like "I don't like how you don't follow human anatomy". WHAT you say not nearly as important as HOW you say it.AbyssPlanet
Participant😀 Awesome!!! 😀
Quoted for truth. 😀
