today movie: Where Have All the People Gone? is a made-for-TV movie that was broadcast on NBC in 1974. It stars Peter Graves, Kathleen Quinlan, George O’Hanlon, Jr., and Verna Bloom. On a camping trip in the Sierra Nevada mountains in central California, a father (Peter Graves) and his two teenage children are exploring a cave when they experience an earthquake.A last man On earth post apocalyptic movie, a popular genre in the early 70’s,from the cool Omega MAN to the dreadful but campy fun of damnation Alley, to excellent MAD MAX. This is the LOOOOOW Budget TV version of a post apocalyptic movie. enjoy!

The apocalyptic element of having the people that were exposed to the mysterious solar radiation flare turn into a pile of crystalline powder was probably inspired by the Star Trek OST episode “The Omega Glory”. B)
