Actually, I'm suprised that a FMG storyline hasn't been used yet on The 4400 series, which seems tailor-made as a venue for such a transformation.  After all the USA Network Characters Wanted promos even included a female bodybuilder as an example of what they meant . . .  😎

But in answer to your question, several years back on the Everything Grows forum someone (his nick was Davros, if I recall correctly) was posting a Dr Who story (unfinished) with GTS growth as its focus.  I don't have a copy of the chapters that he posted, tho, someone else might.
