ParticipantMy friend who'd commented on Biel's height said that her ideal Wonder Woman actress height would be around 5'11" or 6', as Wonder Woman IS, after all, an amazon.
We discussed other candidates for the job, trying to think of females who are tall and reasonably muscular. She'd suggested Lucy Lawless. I'd suggested Joanie Laurer, who – despite still looking strong – seems to have bulked down somewhat in recent years, although now that I give her a second thought, I don't know if her voice sounds right for the part.

ParticipantAmazing… a topic was started, formed an arguement, settled an arguement, and grew to four pages all in the course of one day…
In any event, as a moderator, I must ask that all future messages in this thread stay on topic; if you have a problem with anything that anyone else says in this thread or wish to apologize to anyone who you may have offended in this thread, please contact him or her via Private Messaging to settle things. It's less embarrassing for both parties and more considerate to others reading the thread. I now declare this a "no drama" zone from here on in.
And now, back to our show!
I ran this by a friend of mine who's a HUGE Wonder Woman fan. Her biggest beef with Jessica Biel as Wonder Woman was her height; Biel is, as she said, "Not a tall woman".

ParticipantThat's the best thing ever? Funny… I was expecting beef stew…
(An imaginary cookie to whoever gets that reference. 😀 )
Seriously, though, funny pic! 😀

ParticipantAlso, one thing of note: while you don't need a cent to get into SL (Second Life), having money allows you to purchase more goods, services, and land in SL (In fact, you can't own ANY land without money). It all depends on what sort of membership you have:
If you've got cash to burn, a Premium Membership could be fun; it allows you to own land (But you pay for it on a monthly basis), and you can use your credit card to purchase Linden Dollars (Or "L$"), the currency of SL.
If you're not rolling in dough, but not terribly low on money either, I'd recommend getting a Basic Membership with Payment Info On File. With that sort of membership, you aren't REQUIRED to pay money regularly, but you can still charge your credit card to buy L$ for in the game. That way, you can spend as much or as little as you feel like in SL. This is, if you ask me, the most advisable membership to get.
And lastly, there's a Basic Membership with No Payment Info On File. This membership is good for people who can't spend much, but it sort of sucks to have. You can't buy anything (You could still look around for freebies, "camp" for money, or visit money trees) and some people will avoid you (Some people create these sorts of accounts so they can cause trouble and never get permanently banned from SL, as their credit card isn't used to keep track of their troublemaking).
Hope that helps you out!

ParticipantHeh heh… she'd better be careful… if she squeezes those puppies wrong, that top might burst…

ParticipantHUZZAH!!! 😀
I'm not really surprised with this… after all, Fox un-cancelled Family Guy after it became popular a second time on Adult Swim.
Hmm… you think Adult Swim might get a hold of Greg the Bunny…?
