ParticipantTruly awesome, DCM. This WOULD make a nice desktop, as Ritz said.
As for me, I'm lookin' at Tetsuko's loose bikini top and waiting for a good, strong breeze to come by…!

ParticipantMy fave amazons are those that defy the stereotypes; namely, Freak, Andrah, and Tetsuko. Freak is innocent and gentle, despite her strength. Andrah is caring and intelligent; hardly the brute one would expect (Well, she CAN be a bit brutish to her hubby Dr. Otto, but there's genuine love beneath that, making her a deeper character than one might expect). And Tetsuko is cheerful, sometimes to the point of downright spunkiness. These gentle giantesses are my FAVES of all Amazons on this forum, to tell the truth. ๐

ParticipantI've been trying to keep up with Gideon's art. He's still somewhat active, but it's indeed true; very little of his art has featured women as of late. I actually didn't know about his hermaphrodites; I was merely aware of him doing a lot of guys lately. I hope he'll throw us a bone (No dirty puns, please) and draw the occaisional muscle-girl again sometime soon, and it seems that hoping is just about all I can do for now… ๐

ParticipantTo be honest, I prefer my muscle girls to be nice and perhaps even sweet and innocent, as well (Hence the reason my fave of Kulli's creations is innocent li'l Freak). But still, those tips I gave on drawing villains/antiheroes/anyone who's not a goody-two-shoes could always come in handy, so feel free to take a look-see.
Don't forget, though, DCM, you've still got one bullying amazon; the somewhat butch and just plain mean Holly from Satin Steele: Contest Jitters! I think you did a good job of making her a villaness, with her less-feminine facial features, and more noticeably, her hair and eyebrows. She makes a great contrast to Satin, as well as to the other heroines you've drawn.

ParticipantHmm… making characters look MEANER? Perhaps the following would help:
– Moody shading and colors: Dark coloring means dark character. A white background? NOT scary. However, you can also try a background that's an intense, firey red or orange to contrast with a darkly-colored character.
– Scary mouth: When Kulli's characters are in a darker, scarier mood, their mouths show it. Their teeth are clenched (Sometimes showing off their canine teeth), and either curled in an angry frown or a cruel smile. What's most important is that if someone mean or evil is experiencing intense emotions, they show as much of their teeth as possible. Otherwise, a wide-mouthed sneer or frown will do, for their calmer moods.
– Scary eyes: Characters that are dark – or even villainous – usually will not look at someone head-on. More often than not, they offer a sideways glance, often through squinting eyes, as if to say, "You're so pathetic, you're not even worth my full attention." Dark makeup helps around the eyes of girls (And sometimes guys, where appropriate), as well. Tall, thin, catlike pupils don't hurt, either! Also – and this is a common trick in anime – mean characters will often have hair over their eyes; the eyes are the window to the soul, so by using their hair as a natural mask or barrier, they are concealing something you probably don't want to know about. This is why characters with sunglasses or masks can be scary as well.
Hope this helps!

ParticipantLoving the progress! Looks very natural. And I can't say I blame people for wanting to be the ones to apply sunscreen to her! ๐

ParticipantGenerally, I prefer to use one of those little little rubber pads to open jars, but I like your method too. ๐ I hope this is but the first of many comics from you!

ParticipantQuite awesome! I prefer your smooth-skinned amazons to the ones with lines on them (Not veins, but what look like ridges of sinew), and the growth shown was icing on the cake. Well done. ๐
