Participantto start off ASHtober the movie today is The Abominable Dr. Phibes 1971 is a 1971 British dark comedy horror film, produced by Ronald S. Dunas and Louis M. Heyward, directed by Robert Fuest, written by William Goldstein and James Whiton,[2] and starring Vincent Price and Joseph Cotten.[3] Its art deco sets, dark humour, and performance by Price have made the film and its sequel Dr. Phibes Rises Again cult classics.[2] The film also features Terry-Thomas and Hugh Griffith, with an uncredited Caroline Munro appearing in still photographs as Phibes’s wife.
The film follows the title character, Dr. Anton Phibes, who blames the medical team that attended to his wife’s surgery four years prior, for her death and sets out to exact vengeance on each one.[4] Phibes is inspired in his murderous spree by the Ten Plagues of Egypt from the Old Testament. enjoy

Lot of preformers are prefering Female bodyguards . they are less conspicuous, hide their firearms in a purse and many times when someone wants to harm a preformer they target the guard first.
[quote=”BodyByBane” post=137407][quote=”Ashlee” post=137362]yes , some preformers have been using female weightlifters & bodybuilders in front rows as guards to prevent assholes getting on the stage and atacking the performer.

Participanttodays movie is Class of 1984 is a 1982 Canadian-American action thriller crime film directed by Mark L. Lester and co-written by Tom Holland and John Saxton based on a story by Holland. The film stars Perry King, Merrie Lynn Ross (who also served as co-executive producer), Timothy Van Patten, Lisa Langlois, Stefan Arngrim, Michael J. Fox (credited as Michael Fox in an early role shortly before his breakthrough on the TV series Family Ties), and Roddy McDowall.
The movie is considered by some to be a recollection of 1955’s The Blackboard Jungle. King and Van Patten have the Glenn Ford and Vic Morrow roles (respectively), while Fox is in Sidney Poitier’s.
The film used the punk look and image that was becoming part of popular culture in the early 1980s. The theme song, “I Am the Future”, was performed by Alice Cooper. The film also features a performance by Canadian punk band Teenage Head.

Participanttoday movie is SHE Set 23 years after a nuclear war called “The Cancellation”, the film follows Tom and his friend Dick, whose sister has been captured by a local tribe, the Urech. They set out to find and rescue her, while avoiding the dangerous tribes encountered along the way. After being captured and escaping from a clan led by “She” (Sandahl Bergman), they receive help as She decides to assist them after learning of a prophecy from a local seer.
The ruler of the Urech can levitate his enemies and has an army of mutant, special abilities apparently granted by the nuclear radiation. [2]The heroes also have to face a tutu-wearing giant, a psychic communist, toga-wearing werewolves, and mutants bandaged up like Egyptian mummies.
