In fact, the reason why I owe him is because he was the one who encouraged me to start drawing and posting my artwork. That's something I never dreamed I could EVER do. I've also seen other new and budding artists who were either bullied or ridiculed by some passers-by or people who don't like that style of art. Artists are artists and should support one another. ParticipantAwesome saying, LG. I've notice a bigtrend now in FMG/FBB, where artists are shying away because of bullying, or personal choice. It's quite alarming, and we've lost some pretty good artists in the process. I do want to see more FMG artists standing their ground just as you have.
However, things do change…just like teen singers grow up to be adult singers, artists too change, grow, and move on with other things. It's all about personal preference and whatever is best for the artists themselves. Also, some artists have a lot of personal situations which occur. Or sometimes, they just need a break. Whatever it is, I believe people have the right to do what they feel is best for themselves. If that means they need a break, or a "clean break"…then so be it. They have to do what they feel in their heart is right.
ParticipantBlah, it gives me great displeasure to say this (and believe me, I mean GREAT DISPLEASURE to say this): Eegore is going to close down the Magic Crayons site. As far as I know, he still has his art on the site…but his reason for closing the site is basically because he feels the need to move on. Anyway, here's the website link.
