At that time (1990) Marie-Laure also appeared on the french TV programme “Rira, rira pas”, where she was more a kind of figurehead. But the most interesting is that every evening there was a female bodybuilder on french television who was part of the crew of the TV programme, something that justs sounds impossible nowadays.

Unfortunately the show got cancelled quickly (it lasted about one month only).

Talk about being ahead of your times ,..she was a muscle-bound Vanna White
For years i Always bitched,..”why i’m the sole proponent of a female bodybuilding game show/talk show hostess ?”
And there it was all this time,…albeit in another damn country

Well, 80s FBB are like fitness today. Just my scale, I realized that some people would only want to rate real FBBs only. But that is up to each individual? I probably prefer Physique level, fitness a little too light while FBB’s a little too much.

    FBB’s a little too much ? Pshaw,I say! pshaw.

we shall settle this like men….By holding a BBing contest

get scantily clad muscle babes to parade around onstage infront of a banner with Amaz0ns logo

it’s the only way to be able to test grade rating scale

Tried to upload a short clip where she cramps up in competition way back in 2001. Veoh deleted it almost immediately. Oh well, here are some screen shots.

when veoh became problematic so to speak ,…I turned over to Vimeo & DailyMotion for my needs

Not sure this one has been mentionned in any other topic on this site.

This music video features Marie-Laure Mahabir, french bodybuilder and former Miss Olympia contestant in the nineties.

great find,Lord Kelvin…I was always a giant fan of Marie Mahabir
even when others were not too crazy about her looks in the early 90s
just really damn sexy to me

    blackface
going to assume the guys dolled up as drag queens are the other players in the band
if not they should have used Marie & another French BBer to act out said roles

Hello all,I found something that I’m sure a lot of muscled Superheroine lovers will enjoy. A while back, I found a site featuring Aurora’s Light, a comic book created by LeighAnna Ross. The story involves Anna Ross, (yup, she put herself in the comic!) an archeologist who finds a jewel that transforms her into the muscled Aurora’s Light! Sadly, the comic book never got passed a few pages posted at the site, and what makes this much cooler is Leigh posed at comic-Cons as A.L. Yes, she’s not muscled at the con but the comic book is, just look at the intro page. I thought I posted this a while back and did a search, and nothing came about, so, here ya go, Aurora’s Light. (drawn by Boris Vallejo) http://www.auroraslight.net/ P.S. Does anyone have any recent news about this comic, did it ever get off the ground or is it in the process?

Tried finding this and no such luck on my end,…
possible that you know if there’s any pictures out in the world ???

I was thinkin’ Rodney Dangerfield, personally… :side:

uhhhhh,…that is not a good idea for religious and Hollywood moneymaking reasons
    Maybe in 1979

honestly would be smarter to get Andrew DICE Clay if you’re going with athletic 80s comedians

i think it had a review of Grease 2 , [one of the worst movies of all time]

First of all, how dare you. I will not have the film debut of a young Michelle Pfeiffer slandered!
    Second here’s a postcard from the 80s
