Gilbert Hernandez, the artist who created “Petra”, used to feature a lot of female bodybuilders
in his comic books (“Love and Rockets” and other ones). But for some reason, about 4-5 years ago,
he stopped. Not sure why. He seemed to have a thing for them. In fact, in one of the Love and Rocket Books, he
has a Mexican female bodybuilder named “Diana” flexing her huge muscles before several scrawny male photographers
on a beach. Scene is really well drawn, the massive female bodybuilder looking 2 or 3x the size
of her male admirers!. I suspect his publishers forced him to stop at some point, claiming that these women were “unmarketable”.

Also if anyone does actually care to ask Hernandez bout his reasoning why he no longer draws FBBers,..

I thought that the season two premiere guest starring Superman was pretty good. I felt it had more of a serious tone and not as silly as the first season.

Definitely serious tone just no MUSCLE tone,…guy playing Clark Kent/Superman is built like a swimmer not a farm boy
Also Jimmy Olsen could totally dunk a basketball on CK…
how are we suppose to believe that Jimmy looks up to a guy who he has to look down at to stare in the face

Matter of fact,..everytime Rucka has been on a book there is a lesbian character
