ParticipantIs Panthro gonna be Black on this show too?
That was my favorite part of the original show. Nunchuck wielding, energy blasting, mechanic, Panther-man with the voice and swagger of a black dude. You could write an entire Blaxploitation comic series with that!
Batman Beyond was an amazing show. Mostly because it was a slate cleaning effort from the BTAS team and was so amazing that it became part of the over all DC animated community, and is currently making it’s translation into comics.
Lastly….
Despite all of the evidence (cold hard facts), I still hold on to the belief that Destro from G.I. Joe is Black.

ParticipantLol Yeah… I can't name no names! She'd kill me if she found out I was talking about her on the web and what not. I'm thinking I'm gonna be supportive and put down some dollars from this magazine and put a few pics on the ol' wall… Just like freshmen year of college… well… with better physiques.

ParticipantFantastic thread. I've been explaining to my athlete friends for years that they are poorly represented for their visual aesthetic.
If you like muscular women you can find site after site filled with gorgeous female bodybuilders along with fitness and figure models, but if you like the more powerful look of a thrower, weightlifter, powerlifter, water polo player, or numerous other athletes; all you can get is a couple of poor action shots from meets. No photo shoots, exotic locations, pool shots, or even candids.
It's a shame really, because there are many exquisite ladies out there that are dedicated to their sports and have the bodies to prove it, all the while getting a shred of the attention and funding their male counterparts get. All I'm saying is that if female athletes marketed as hard as female bodybuilders did, I believe we could see a very different take on athletics as a whole.
Stay tuned… I have a feeling I'm going to find out if this'll work, and all I'm really saying is that I want more shots of muscular female athletes. So different, so talented, so gorgeous.

ParticipantThe real question is: How will they do it?
(that breaks down to) How muscular will she be? Will the stories and the changes they make actually be any good? How will she differentiate herself form her 616 counterpart?
Either way… I'm in.
